Hal was a great friend. I enjoyed his humor and philosophy. We served together in the military and thereafter. We will miss him. May God continue to bless his family. Colonel Smith

My sympathy to Hal's family. I worked at BellSouth in C&CA with Hal. He always had a smile, a story/joke and talked of his family often. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace, Hal.

I am so sorry to hear that Hal had passed away. I worked with him while subbing in the Corp and Comm Affairs Dept. Hal was a wonderful and sweet man. It was one of the jobs that I loved at Bellsouth because he was so caring. May he be at peace and rest with our heavenly father. My prayers are with your family.

Hal was a man who always enjoyed being around people and would light up a room with his smile. I worked with him for over 20 years and while I have not seen him since my relocation back to Atlanta in the early 90s, I can still see his warm smile knowing heaven will now enjoy it forever.

I worked with Hal years ago. He was among the most genuine, selfless and encouraging people I knew. I admired his quiet resolve and courage as he dealt with the difficulties of life. I know his children and grandchildren are proud of him. He'll be missed by all who knew him.
