To the family of Haley M. Nellum, With our most deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. We also lost a child, a son, Josh in 2007. Josh was almost 23 years old when he died. Our hearts ache hearing about your, Haley. You continue to be in our thoughts & in our prayers. There is a self-help support group called, The Compassionate Friends, for parents who have lost a child, siblings (of mature age) who have lost a brother or sister, & grandparent's who have had a grandchild die. At the meetings we share our experiences resulting from our child's death, & how we deal with those experiences. The chance to talk, share, & listen is so important in the grieving process. If you are ever are interested in attending, there is no time frame in which to start coming. Come when you think you are ready to meet others who "understand" how you feel. There is a TCF Chapter in Fort Wayne (it's 36th year). We meet the 1st Tuesday of every month with the exception of July & December. In July there is a Balloon Release/Picnic at Lakeside Park & in December a Worldwide Candle Lighting Service is held. The meetings start at 7:00pm, ending by 9:00pm at The First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne St., on the 2nd floor. Parking off of Berry St. For any further information go to www.compassionatefriends.orgMost sincerely,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
