So sorry to hear of Harold Wayne's passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. The connection that he maintained with regular phone conversations with my mother, Clara, was greatly appreciated and it gave her much joy to hear from him.
It's good to think of our family as being made up of good people like Harold Wayne. May he R.I.P.

I served with Harold on the U.S.S. Lexington in 1970-1971 while it was homeported in Pensacola, Fla. He was a PO1 at the time and this was my first ship assignment and he showed me the ropes. I learned a lot from him and it made my time in the Navy more enjoyable. Sorry for your loss.

Cody, Joni and family...We lost a "one-of-a-kind" guy. May GOD give us all some peace knowing he is no longer suffering.
Our deepest sympathies for you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I am so sorry for your loss. I imagine he is having a good ole time playing cards with Aunt Carole, Grandma and Daddy and wonder if Jr. is having to referee. May God give you strength and may your love and memories bring your comfort. He loved you all very much and always remember Joni that Daddy's are always watching out for their little girls (and their grandkids too).
So sorry we will not be able to attend the service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Cody, we are so sorry for your loss. Your Papa was a good man and he loved you so much. I'm glad to have been able to meet him and thank God that you and Mr. Burgess is part of my family's life. He sure will be missed....:( Kaye Gibson, West Virginia
