Oh, what sad news I heard today--from my dad (of all people!) Marcia, there are no words -- looking at how many people are here in the guestbook says it all! Please take care of yourself and let the unity of the family that you and Buddy created be a source of comfort. It is, after all, what it's all about and the two of you have so much to be proud of.
Love from us both.........

Dear Marcia and Family, I am sorry for your loss. I found out about Buddy's passing from a friend. I was fortunate enough to have worked for Buddy at Mar-Lou Shoes in the Old Arcade. He hired me when I started my first year of college at Baldwin-Wallace and was gracious enough to keep me employed through out my four years of college.
He was a very kind, humorous and diligent boss. Many of the things he taught me, helped me to achieve success in my financial career.
I am saddened at his passing. He, and all of you, will be in my prayers.

Bud and his sweet golden retriever were regulars at the SE dog park, and it was great fun to watch Bud heaving a ball time after time, and that beautiful four-legged pal of his tirelessly bringing it back until Bud would say it was enough. We had lots of chats about politics and sports; he was a very nice guy and will be missed.
We humans have the ability to understand and deal with the passing of a loved one-a friend-but how do we as pet owners help the deceased's "best friend" adjust? The same way we help the family adjust--with love, empathy, and just being there. Russell Z. Baron (Cleveland Heights)
