My Dear Hilda, la familia Navedo always refer to you affectionelly as "Rebulquito" because you always seem to settle family dispute whether small or big. You was the first to welcome me into the family and even was my maid of honor. You in turn became my daughter (Sandy) God Mother. In all the years gone by we have shared many ups and downs, but with you there and that can do attitude the road of life was smoother. I will miss you, but I'm sure the Lord is eagerly awaiting you. All my Love Mickie

My Dear Mama Hilda,

You were a blessing and gift to me and the entire family. Your unconditional loving ways are truly invaluable and unforgettable.

You filled my life with joy and guided me through difficult decisions I encountered in a way no one else could. And for that I will be forever grateful.

As Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates.  You never know what your gonna get". I am so grateful that God picked you for me. He picked the best one!

I will cherish your memory and pass on the all the gifts of love, faith and guidance you shared with me to my boys as you look down on us from up above watching us eat rice and beans.

Love,
Hachee

To God Be The Glory!
Our favorite song.
You will always be my "Strong Tower".
What joy it gives me to know you made the journey home to our Father's house .....to hear Jesus say: Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant.
And to see Mama beaming as you walked through those Pearly Gates of Heaven. Until we meet again in Glory...I love you

Dearest Hilda,
You were so beautiful on the inside and out. Your tender heart with my daughter meant so much. I will always admire and work to achieve your strong faith in the lord. Whenever I hear someone say God Bless You... I will think of you. Your marriage was a testimony of love that few have.
May you rest in peace with your love ones. You will be missed!

An angel went to heaven. Mama Hilda I thought about you everyday and loved you so very much! You were a great influence in my life and I am so fortunate to resemble such a beautiful lady. Your words of wisdom I will never forget. I can still hear your voice singing or telling me those kind words. One of my favorites was you singing " you gotta be" and of course "carita de mama..." I am so grateful to have been taught by you how to make rice and beans. I know how thrilled and proud you and papa were with me going to school and becoming a nutritionist and RN. Education and college were something you and Papa always emphasized the importance of despite this being uncommon for your era. This just goes to show how wise you were, even in today's world. I know how precious our phone conversations were as you often said they were worth more than money and gold. The truth is after talking to you and Papa I felt like a million bucks! I can remember asking my dad why he hugged and kissed me all the time and his response was I get it from my mother. Most of the morals I was taught were either from you and Papa or the two people you brought into the world. When your great granddaughter Lucia started wearing her dress up heels we would call her Mama Hilda. You always dressed beautifully just like your personality and always with a pair of wedges. I will pass the morals and faith you taught me onto my children and even though you are not here on earth to meet my son that's coming I know you will see him from heaven and continue to bless us with your love. You will truly be missed everyday!

Dear Mama Hilda,

It is amazing the mark that you have left behind, I'm lucky I get to see it everyday In the love you gave to Brandy.

The lessons you taught her about life and love, and the path to being a good person makes myself and my daughter extremely lucky, and for that I thank you!

You were so welcoming and warm from the first time I met you, making me feel apart of your family, and that too I will never forget.

You had a way to talk to people, and even if your opinion may have been strong, you said it with grace and with upmost respect, with nothing but good intentions. I can't help but laugh when you seen a tattoo on my leg, you told me it was lovely, but not to get any more...lol.

You will certainly be missed by so many lives you touched, but rest comfortably knowing how lucky they were to have you.

Until we meet again, continue to watch over your ever growing family and rest in peace!

Love,
Gary

To My Hilda,

For you are my one and only, the sentinel of light that lights my path. I walk with you in love forever. Remember our journey as time passes us by and fades away. My confession of love to you.

Life is like a boat that sails forever ‘til it reaches the apparent boundary between the earth and sky like when you're born until you die and reach the end of life.

Love ya always,
Frankie
