To the Family of Sgt. Kenney:
He was my ROTC Instructor at West Side High School for 3 years. He was a wonderful, mild mannered, stern and very positive person that I am proud to say, had an awesome impact on my life and I'm glad to have had the pleasure and opportunity to meet him in my life. He was truly a blessing and I'm sure he will be missed dearly by all of you. May God Bless and keep each of you during this time of bereavement. My sympathy and prayers go out to you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
To the Kenney Family:
Very saddened to hear the news of Bro. Kenney. I was a member of FCC in Griffith, Indiana. I remember he and his wife and their dedication to the ministry. Soldiers, I would call them. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. May God sustain you and keep you in perfect peace.

To Darwin and the Kenney Family
I was just informed about your father's passing. I had not met him but I came to know him through your stories. Your father was a brave and courageous man and will be missed. He has left a "can do" legacy and his spirit of hope will be kept alive through your greatness. May the love of God surround you now and forever...

Words are inadequate to explain the loss of such a fine man. MSG Kenney's Christian faith was truly an positive example for everyone who had contact with him. His quite strength marked him as soldier, husband, father and friend who will be missed as he goes to heaven to join his wife. The Wilhelm family send its deepest regrets and prayers to the Kenney family. We share in your loss and are thankful for having known MSG Hubert Kenney, Sr.
I was saddened to hear the passing of your Dad, I was truly blessed growing up on Lincoln St with the Kennney Family, you all are in my prayers.
Brother/Elder Kenney was on of the first people to welcome me at Family Christian Center. He taught my New Members class, and prayed for my family shortly before my father died in 1998. He was a kind man who touched many. My prayers are with his children and entire family.
Dearest Kenney Family,
We had the pleasure of meeting Brother Kenneth during our new member classes at FCC on Broad Street in Griffith. Tardiness and absenteeism were never tolerated.
