I grew up with Eddie and went to school with him. I'm sorry for your loss, Gillis family. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

To Dorothy, Jim. Ed & Sue, I am so sorry to hear about Jack. We had some really good times at High Street & in Cub scouts. I told David & Jim about Jack & they said they were sorry to hear it also. My prayers are with all of you. One of my friends at church died also & her funeral is tomorrow so I won't be able to come but I'm thinking about you. Wanda VanSyckle
I have wonderful memories of times shared with Grandpa Gillis as I was growing up. On holidays, our family would pack up and we would drive to Lansing to see Grandma and Grandpa Gilllis, or they would come to our house in Kalamazoo. I remember Grandpa as warm, loving, and always happy with good stories to share. The last time I saw him was at my wedding. It is was extra special to me that he and Grandma were able to make it because they shared the same wedding date - June 17th - 62 years prior.
Grandpa Gillis was a wonderful and loving Grandfather to many. I will forever look back on fond memories of holdiays and family gatherings with him.
Dorothy, Greg, and Sue, you are in my thoughts and prayers, with deepest sympathy. April McLeod
Jack was a wonderful neighbor to my dad and mother and a friend of my husband and I. He will be truely missed.
So saddened to hear of Jack's passing. You are in our thoughts and we send our deepest sympathy to you all.
Thinking for the fun times we had when
you and Dorothy visited us in Texas. When our families would go to Galveston and kids had a good time playing in the Gulf.
Dad, simply put I will love and miss you always.
