As a child I remember the HUGE LING COD that Uncle Jack would bring home. They made the best fish 'n chips! As I grew older, it was the many lessons on financial matters and the Dief n Buck! For those too young to remember, once upon a time the CAN Dollar was 1.25 to the U.S. Then as I got even older, it was philosophical visits with him over a bottle of scotch which I would gift him. This visits were while I was living in Australia ... it was a long time between scotches! He will be fondly remembered! Linda "B" in Mexico

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Jackie. I am also embarrassed to state that it has been many years since I last seen him, but I do have some fond memories. I remember when I was a young man, he took me salmon fishing on his boat. Although we didn't catch a salmon, he did instill a fondness for salmon fishing that I maintain today.

I remember Uncle Jackie as a wonderful story teller. He would wave his arms around and motion with his body to emphasize various aspects of his many humorous stories. This left us rolling on the floor with laughter.

I also remember Uncle Jackie as a disciplinarian. I learned at an early age that you never wanted to be on the wrong side of him.

On behalf of my family, I would like to express our sincerest condolences to Harvey, Ricky and Cindy for the loss of your father.
