I am sorry for your family's loss. I had the pleasure of caring for Mr. Andersen several years ago, and he always brightened my day. He carried such a positive attitude through all of his struggles and was a most sincere man. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Even though we moved on with our lives when we each started our families, Jimbo always managed to keep in touch.
His caring attitude and big heart were always on display. We had some great times over the course of our younger years which included drinking beer.
Hopping a train from Metairie to City Park.
Going on the President (paddle wheeler in NOLA) on Saturday nights. Hitchhiking from Chalmette to Metairie.
Spearfishing for mullets at Uncle Leroy and Aunt Eunice's camp in Slidell.
Also there, he was always strumming the guitar to the tune of "They all went to the Audubon Zoo'" and me while dancing breaking Aunt Eunice's toes.
What a full beautiful life but left too soon!
Will miss him.
Hope, one day to see Ole Jimbo in heaven at Jimbo's Tavern.
Love ya ole buddy!
Beth, Jimmy, Melissa & Stacey,
Jim always brought a ray of sunshine with him everywhere he went. He was a knowledgable tech and a pleasure to work with. We haven't seen any of you for a long time now, but every time I think of Jim and Beth I think only of good thoughts, fun times, Sears pic-nics and laughter. Lots of laughter. I also think of the three beautiful little kids, that are obviously grown, productive adults now.
Jimmy loved all of you and was very proud to be a husband and father. He will be joking around and watching over all of you from a loftier place now.
Battle after battle has been valiantly fought. Now it's time for the dust to settle. Although you will miss him dearly, he suffers no more, and he is in peaceful rest. Life will go on for the ones he leaves behind. Just the way he would want it. God Bless you all.
Rest in Peace, my friend.
Mike & Genie

Melissa, my heart goes out to you and your wonderful family for your loss of such a special person. I can't imagine how much you're going to miss your dad, but he will always live on through you. No matter what was going on with him, he always had a way to make people laugh and smile. I'll always remember how much fun he made our softball trips. I love you my girl.
My thoughts & prayers are with you Beth & your whole family.
Although we have not kept in touch for a very long time, I have very fond & loving memories of the whole gang at Sears. Now Jim & Glenn can be GODS repairmen in glorious heaven. Thank you for sharing your family photos
We all know that Jimmy is in a special place, love, Jeannie (Steib) Kuhn
I've come to the conclusion that the Lord must NEED good people with Him in heaven. Otherwise, Jim would still be here with us. MB-I apologize for not being able to be there for you and the kids on Friday. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and keeping you in my prayers. Love you!

Doo, you are such an inspiration to so many people. An amazing husband, father, grandpa, and friend. You're strength and courage over the past three years has made me realize just how precious life is. I am so proud to have known someone of your magnitude. We will all miss you but we know that you are now able to rest without pain. I'll make sure that Stacey keeps her head up and a smile on her face because I know that is what you would want from her. I love you Doo and will miss you dearly!!
Uncle Jimmy what an amazing example of strength, courage, and determination you displayed through these last few years! Your strength will never be forgotten, your courage was an inspiration, and your determination was miraculous. BUT your faith in our Lord was breath taking! I pray that you are looking down on us in your glorious body with NO MORE PAIN and rejoicing in the amazing legacy you left your beautiful family! You will forever live in our hearts and memories! Love ya!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of loss. Jimmy was a sweet and loving man, even though he was fighting his own battle he nevered failed to inquire on how my dad was doing from his stroke and if mom was ok. He will be missed by all who knew him.
