Dr. Bored took care of me for many years, and I always considered him as a good friend.
I knew Dr. Boren since I was 10 yrs. old. He did surgery on me at age 11. He was the most kind, loving, human being, I'll ever have had the pleasure to know. My heart is sickened and saddened to find out he has been taken from us. My heartfelt sympathy to you all. He will never be forgotten by me or none of my family.
Dear Family of the most precious Dr. a child ever had the good fortune of knowing and her family as well. Dr. Boren was my Dr. back in 1965-1966 when I was 10 years old. I had been born intersexed and he was more like a Daddy to me, than my Dr. He did my surgery when I was 11 yrs. old and we kept in touch by phone or letter until I was married and in my 30's I'd guess. I did have to call him from time to time about changing prescriptions for my HRT, he was always there for me, ready to interrupt anything he was doing to talk to his "Virginia". My whole family(Dad, Mom, siblings knew him and loved him with all our hearts). I knew him in the beginning when Marty used to work for him back in the 1960's and also when Barbara Tyler worked for him. He took as good a care of me, as any father would. My family loved him so much. We still do. I have lost my Momma in 2006, my Dad is still living, he is 81, will be 82 if he lives till the 7th. day of May, 2015. My Dad and Dr. Boren were like two teenagers when they got together, when I'd go for my appt's and exams. I wanted to share my heart with you all. I hope you get this message. If you would have time, I wish you'd drop me a short note, telling me about what took him from us all. My address is: Deanna Ellis, P. O. Box 752, Anacoco, La. 71403. I paid the $29.99 to have this restored because I wanted to feel a part of his passing as I had been a part of his life. Please know he was loved by me and my whole family so very much and will never be forgotten. He meant that much and so much to me. Thank you in advance. My heart goes out to you all. I am saddened to the deepest depths of my heart about his passing. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I do hope you receive this from me. It is very important to me, that you do.
My dad and Virginia were first cousins. I'm sorry that I never met this side of the family (I live in CA). Thank you for sharing photos and the lovely story of his life. I'm glad there was a lot of love and family. Would love to keep in touch with family members -- I was able to meet with Mary Helen a few times. Have lost touch with Sue and Ron Huff. Condolences to all.
I am so sorry to here of the passing of Dr. Boren I worked with him for almost eight years and was not only his employee but a dear friend. He was the kindest my caring person I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He taught me so much. I will always cherish the time I spent with him.

A nice man and a good doctor.
My mother was a patient of Dr. Boren for many years and she thought he was a wonderful doctor and a very nice person. I knew Dr. Boren at St. Laurence and thought he was a very kind man and a special person. My thoughts are with his family.

He was a sweet man and a real character. His laughter was contagious. He will be missed dearly by so many.
Stu or Dr. B as we called him, was a wonderful friend of our family. My Dad and he enjoyed occasional visits during my Dad's last years. We will miss Dr. B, but love the fond memories his life has given us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Stu was a wonderful man whose big heart touched the lives of many - including mine. I will miss him very much, but am thankful to have so many cherished memories of him. Rest in peace oh child of God and love of mine.
Forty three years ago, on the only visit we ever had, Dr. Boren's common sense educated this patient in the best way. I admired him for his down home candor then and consider it the best advice I ever got.
He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Your dad will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I will always remember his laugh and sweet smile.
I have so many good memories of the times that Stu and I had together. He was always devoted to his whole family. He will be missed. Love & prayers to all of you. Love, Kitty
