It was an honor to have worked with Jim. He taught me a great deal about the operations side of the business at RCA and GE and also showed me that conducting yourself with dignity and integrity was was the only way to do business. He will be missed by all.
Jim and I worked very closely together for many years. He was an excellent manager and a dedicated family man, who we will all miss. My best to his family. Jim Moore
Jim was a true gentleman and one of the most kind men I ever worked for. Although our association was brief, his demeanor and way with people left a lasing impression on me. His passing leaves a void that cannot be easily filled. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I'll miss Jim. He taught this "bean counter" a whole lot about business and things electrical. He called me "Brownie" and helped move my life and business career forward. A true gentleman. Rob Allegeer

Dear Pat, I was so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He wrote me such a moving tribute to Lee when I lost him almost 2 years ago. Lee always spoke of Jim with such fondness and he enjoyed their friendship for many years - fishing, working together at RCA and later, GE.. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. We were truly blessed being married to such exceptional men. With love, Pat Harrison

Hello, I am the grand-daughter of Paul M. Cain and had the priviledge of being taken to the Bright Star restaurant in Bessemer, AL one summer right around my birthday by "Mr. Cain" as his wife would call him, and his wife "Ms. Cain" as he would call her. I fell in love with the gentility of them both and will never forget that day. Both of them just wonderful to be around. I was visiting from our home in Charleston, SC and I don't even remember what year it was. But a few weeks ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to go back to the Bright Star and I told him 'again' about how special that day was for me. Wish I had been better at staying in touch. My sympathies to all of you.
My sincere condolences to Pat and the children. Jim was a good friend and a fine gentleman.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I never had the privilege of meeting your dad. I know you alway talked about him with the highest respect and regard.

Pat and family, so sorry to hear about your loss, we met you all in the mountains in North Carolina, always remember his gentle spirit and always willing to do whatever, wonderful person.
Pat & Family,
I was very impressed with Jim the day I met him. My respect for him only grew over the years. He leaves behind a great legacy--successful career, great partner to his wife Pat and a caring father. Jim will be missed, but always fondly remembered. His life is one to be celebrated.
With much sympathy, Lee Bledsoe

Deepest sympathy for Pat, Libby, and Jamie and immediate family. Uncle Jim will surely be missed by all. Thank you for being such a great role model for all that you surrounded yourself. My fondest memory is you sitting with me on the porch of the beach house teaching me how to tie the clinch knot to my fishing hook. I never tied one again without thinking of you. Peace be with you and your family.
