Growing up living next door to Jimmy was a very memorable and wonderful experience for me. I loved Jimmy, Juanita, Jayne and Jim like they were my own family. And that is exactly how they made me feel. So many memories of the swimming pool, Jimmy cooking out, and sitting under the weeping willow tree in the back yard in the shade. I always enjoyed his company, jokes and enjoying life....he always will have a special place in my heart. Love to all of you. I am here if you need me.

My late husband, George "Buster" Colwell worked with Jim at Ford and they had some good times together. I remember ordering a cake for Jim's retirement and being so happy that the Ford logo looked "official". Sympathies to all of you in your loss.

He was part of the reason I am the person I came to be. His influence during my chidhood was part of my foundation. I reflect back on how he made us all laugh and how he taught me to paralell park, and so many other memories that came to us over a life time. He was a good friend to Mother and all us as we grew up in the houses on the hill. My thoughs and prayers are with both of you in this time.
Praying that God will comfort your hearts, uplift your spirits, and carry y'all through the sadness to a place of peace.
Great Uncle Jimmy had such a good sense of humor. Always had jokes or a story to tell us.
As each of us mourn Jimmy's passing, please know that Jimmy has left behind a legacy of love and honor of family. His joyful smile and laughter will always be remembered. The Lord's richest blessings be with you at this time, and his personal consulation wrap you in his tender arms and mercy. We love you. J.D.and Frances Thompson
My thoughts & prayers are with you as you go thru this difficult time! We know the LORD never puts more on us than we can stand! Much love to you & yours!
Jayne, Jim and families, I am so sorry for your loss. We all loved Uncle Jimmy. Having dinner in the country and riding 4 wheelers and seeing the deer and all the other animals. He loved it down there. That was his little piece of haven on earth and now he is in heaven with his love Juanita.
Morning star lights the way

Jimmy lived a full life. I so enjoyed time at their home during the holidays. Jimmy always had a story to tell. Sorry I won't make the memorial, give everyone my best.
Jayne, Ray, Amanda and Darby, and all other family... You are in my prayers, but you know your Dad/Grandfather is no longer in the misery of this earth. My love to all.
Uncle Jimmy was a bear of a man and could give the best hugs in the world. I'm glad he and Aunt Juanita are together again, along with his sisters (our mamas). Love sent to all my family.
Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Juanita gave me my first bible when I was about 12 years old and I still keep and cherish it. I can't believe they are all up there celebrating now and Uncle Jimmy is bossing everyone around!!!! Celebrations Galore! Love From, Miss Linda's Daughter, Khris
