I was shocked to learn of Jim's passing. Maybe Jim and Joe are building lots of log cabins together.
Love to you and the girls
Jim was one of the good guys. Loyal to his family and friends. You will be missed my brother.
I met Jim once but his bright smile is in my mind all the time...Jim, you will be missed!
Words cannot express how much my heart aches for you. I miss you.
Our lives have been exciting since the day I met you. Every day, you surprised me. I want you to know how much I appreciated all the things you did for me and for us and how very proud I am to have you in my life.
Thank you for our two beautiful daughters. Thank you for all the phone calls, cards and flowers you sent for no reason, but to say how much you love me and to brighten my day. Thank you for accepting me the way I am, and never asking me to change in all our 30 years. Thank you for loving me unconditionally.Thank you for being the best friend, husband and father anyone could ask for.
There are so many things I have only you to thank, and I will think about each and every one, every day,for the rest of my life.
Our souls will meet again some day, as we are destined to be together again.
Your Loving Wife, Kay.

Jim always had great words of wisdom for me. Being born one day apart of the same year, we always enjoyed sharing a lunch at Newcastle to celebrate however Jim never ordered from the menu, he always had something else in mind and his waitress would smile and always bring it to him just RIGHT I will always hold Jim in my heart with warm memories. Kay,I am always here is you need anything at all. Carrie
My thoughts go out to the family. Very sorry to hear of you loss.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said "It is not length of life, but depth of life." What an amazing 55 years Jim had and his legacy remains with Kay and the girls. Jim, you will be missed around the campfire. ~ "Old timer" and Lynne

To Jim's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was quite the character in school always found a way to make you laugh. He will be greatly missed. May God watch over you and guide you during this time of grief.
I'm glad to have had the opportunity to work with Jim and get to know him on a personal level. He was as relentless at work as he was at play, consuming and enjoying both work and life like a fine glass of wine. He will be missed by many, replaced by none.
Kay, Lisa and I were shocked to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was THE driving force for a better community on The Ridge. Nobody worked harder. Please let us know how we can help now or in the future. God bless you and your kids.
Kay, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do to be of help to you, just let us know. We will miss him too. He was tireless and always ready to be of help to anyone who needed it. Ken and Vicky McKim
I'll miss Jim's smile, his infectious personality, his passion for good wine and sheer doggedness. He's a man who left a lasting impression on those he touched. God speed and peace to his family.
Dad, I will always love you and miss you. We all miss you. You're the most amazing father and a wonderful role model for the good and the bad, you raised Michelle and I to do well and we will always make you proud. You're my best friend and the best father I could ever ask for, you're a great influence and a great man. I love you very much and I will always make you proud. I love you.
Going back to the days of John L. Scott 1990's, I'll always remember Jim's quick wit, colorful personality and tenacious work ethic. There are people in life we meet who are truly one-of-a-kind.
Grateful to have known him-
