I am so sorry to learn of Liston's passing. For some reason, with the impending government shutdown tomorrow, I was thinking about some of the colorful characters I met early in my career wondering what they might say and Liston came to mind. I searched for Liston online and found his obituary. While saddened, I cherish his memory and the times we did share with him colorfully peddling stocks and stories with the best of them! Rest in peace Liston.
With fond memories of a wonderful fraternity brother. I wish we had stayed in touch.
Thoughts and Prayers go with You Liston
My deepest sympathies. Seems like yesterday we were at the Vandy Deke house.
Estha and Margaret, there is a large void in my heart. Liston was the dearest of friends, one of my all time favorite buddies, golfing partners, mentors, and role models. I miss him terribly, but I know he will always be with us. If there is anything Patty and Meredith and Eric and I can do food you all, please let us know. All our collective love,
Mark, Patty, Meredith and Eric Leyendecker
My thoughts & prayers are with the Roberts family at this time of loss. I have many fond memories of a long-term Hockaday childhood with Margaret, and I know how she cherished her father, his love, and his support. Job well done, sir. Margaret is a treasure. Praying for comfort and peace for the entire family.
I fondly remember this Hockaday dad teaching Margaret to skeet shoot, celebrating her academic achievements, and enjoying a Harvard lecture. My heart is heavy for the loss. God grant Margaret and her mother courage and hope in the journey toward peace.
Dear Estha and Margaret, Jamie and I are deeply saddened to hear of Liston's passing. Our thoughts ,prayers and deepest sympathies are with you at this time. I always enjoyed my time with him and regret not having been able to make the golf trip to Savannah with him. Skeet shoots in Texas are not going to be the same without him. Jim & Jamie Biddle (McAllen,Tx)
Robert and I wanted to express our deepest sympathies to you. Liston was a lovely man, and we all are better for having known him.

I feel very lucky in having been able to share a few rounds of golf, skeet, and his advice over the last 20 years. You will be missed my friend. Thank you Esta for sharing him for a few moments here and there. My thoughts and prayers to you & Margaret.
Dear Estha, Margaret and JLR's family, I share fifty years of your lives with Liston, good times and rough but alwas trying to meet each other halfway with support. Like you I'm sure, I've lost a place to turn and I hope you'll turn to me if ever I can help. I love you, John Segerstrom
I am truely saddened to hear that Liston was ill and have joy and peace in my heart knowing that he is in a better place with our maker. Prayers go out to you Margaret and Estha.
We are truly sorry to hear of Liston's passing. The Roberts family will be in our prayers.
I have lost a very dear friend of many years. He is now in a far better place. God rest his soul and be gracious to dear Esta and Margaret.
So sorry to hear of Listons passing. He was always a pleasure to see on our trips to Dallas Gun Club. Always had time to visit and a desire to talk about our sport. He will surely be missed. Our deepest sympathy to his family and Kay and Hub-----Hank Schmidt, Katy
