Sis Stuart, ,Leon, Joel, and Mariam. I just ran across your fathers, and husband's, obituary on the internet and was really saddened to hear about his passing. I will never forget him and your family as having a very big influence on my life as a young girl. When he pastored the Hastings Pentecostal Church, in Hastings Florida, he had a big heart for the people there in that church. He preached the Word the way it should be preach in this day. God bless each and everyone of you throughout your lives and rest assured that Bro. Stuart has ran his race, finished his course, and is in Heaven where we all want to go. God bless you!! Rubie
Where can I start! Papa you where such a good man of God! You dedicated four of our children. You baptized us the old fashion way in Moores lake. You taught us so many things. We had many good times an laughs with you. I know you have danced a jig or two in Heaven. The flame is still burning as Mama Stuart carries it own. You are so missed and loved! Debbie an Leroy AKA Kerry Johnson.
Daddy, I thought by now I would feel better about you leaving, but the tears and sorrow remain. I miss your beautiful smile so much. I know you are in Heaven and rejoicing with everyone you loved that went before you. You'll remain in my thoughts and in my heart for the rest of eternity. I was just outside your door when you left and I wanted to say goodbye, but I guess you didn't want me to see that. You always loved me more than anyone in my life and you always took up for me, so no one can fill this void I have now. I know you are watching me from Heaven and I promise I'll try to be good daddy. Mom said to tell you she misses you too. We're trying to take good care of her. I love you daddy. Kiss little Beatrice for me.
Your "favorite" daughter....
Bro and Sis Stuart were a HUGE part of my life when I was a child. I have lots of very fond memories of Dover Pentecostal Church. He will be greatly missed. Miriam, Please call me anytime!
I was not privileged to know Mr. Stuart in earlier years but was truly blessed to know and work with him for most of the last year. He had a quick whit and a great sense of humor. He loved to talk about fishing and his family. He would go on and on about his beautiful Ethelene "prettiest gal he'd ever seen", he would always tell me how proud he was of his children but mostly we talked about the Lord and he would sing with me. I would come though his door every day and burst into what ever ol time pentecostal hymn stuck me at the time and he would say "that's a good one" and join right in singing. I miss him dearly but rejoice in his victory over the grave!
Paw, I'm going to miss you at lunch but I know you are eating with Jesus now. Miriam and I will take care of Maw until she gets where you are.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting your dad and your family through the lovely scrapbook pictures of his life. Deepest sympathy to all of the Stuart family.

Brother Stuart was a wonderful man and I grew up listening to his sermons. He will be greatly missed.
Miriam, Your father left a lasting legacy with all the lives he touched from Jacksonville to Dover. He was a good man who LOVED to fish and preach the word of God. He was good at both. I know you will miss you father very much but you know he is so happy in heaven where his memory has been restored. He was very proud of you and loved you very much. He leaves a large hole that no one will be able to fill.
We are thinking of you and praying for you at this time. I have a lot of wonderful memories of Brother Stuart. Maybe he and Lloyd are arranging a fishing trip. I'm sorry we are out of state and can't attend the service.
I grew up in the church that Papa Stuart was the pastor of at the time, Dover Pentacostal. He was a warm, kind, wonderful man of God and his influence help to shape my spiritual life in so many ways. I can just hear him singing the "Fishie Dance" song to us kids as he always did......we just loved it....and him. I'm glad to know that he's with the Lord this morning; rejoicing and shouting! I'll miss your sweet face and smile Papa Stuart. But I'm excited to see you again one day.
