JIm Trainor was my grampa by marriage, and Mary Ann Curtiss , my mother in law. I first met Jim Three years ago at his home in Faifrield and soon after , he was in a care facility in Great Falls. Mary ann was the only daughter who lives in Great Falls and it was difficult for her to visit him since she is wheelchair bound and Norman is still working. I said I would be her eyes and legs and saw Jim twice a week for two years and when he was ill I was there every day. I was with Jim when he passed. I love him like my very own, we became fast friends and tho he could not remember my name he knew me and lit up when I came into the room....and missed me when I was ill and couldn't go into Park PLace. He'd say "where have you been ?" And he expected an explanation, now.
I was able to keep Mary Ann posted on his health, his care and his needs. I was on call to attend to all his needs and to provide comfort and love on her behalf.
Mary Ann called every day to ask about his condition and she and I talked weekly to discuss his condition and his well being. He was very well liked by all and I, for one loved him to pieces. I miss him already, and I will continue to go and check on his sister Katherine, called Katy at Park Place, to honor Jim as well as extended family.
I'm glad that I was able to go to Jim on her behalf. She would have been there probably daily if she were able. She and Norman were always there at the monthly potluck, as well as Eva, Rose, and myself. Jim is with the angels and his Lucy. God bless You Jim and keep you. We will always love you.

The optimist will say "They're in a better place." The pessimist will say "It was just their time." Be the realist. Smile and say "They'll always be with me." Rest in Peace Grandpa...We love you and miss you.
We wish we could be there this weekend for the service. We are grateful that we got to bring our children out to meet their great-grandfather at the Anniversary Celebration this Summer. We have some terrific pictures of our kids with him which we will always cherish. We also enjoyed spending some wonderful time with all of YOU! What a GREAT VISIT we had!!
To Those Who Loved Jim: May you feel God's tender presence in your lives as your memories come alive. Please know that our church community is praying for you. Calvary Chapel of Great Falls

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May all fond memories help you through this difficult time. I am sure Lucy was waiting to give him an ear full when he arrived.
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He will be missed by many. I hope he didn't suffer and wasn't in the care center too long.
Betty, Vicki And I were saddened to read about Jim's passing in the paper. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
