Dear Uncle Bob and Cousins: Arnie and I send our most heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Aunt Jane. She was a most gracious and lovely lady who brought much love and warmth into our lives and to many happy Drake family gatherings over the years. She will be sorely missed but we are grateful for the times we shared and will hold onto rich memories of the time we had with her.
We cannot be in East Laning tomorrow but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Sarah & Arnie
Judge Drake, please know that you are in our prayers

Bob and family, I grew up on Sunset Lane with Jane We shared times at Central Grade School, high school, college and every summer at our ELHS summer reunion. Jane wrote me a note the end of July telling me about her illness. She was a special friend and I will miss her. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Bob & Family: Helen and I are up north, at our Cotage, near Ludington, and have some long-standing commitments here that prevent our being in Lansing Thursday. However, they certainly do not prevent our expressing to you all our deepest sympathies over the loss of your lovely, dear and loving wife (and mother), of lo these 63 years. You were both such such loving, caring, kind, and compassionate friends. I always remember deeply, Bob, just how thoughtful and helpful you were to me as a young lawyer, just getting started in Lansing. And, Jane always reflected to us that same kind of warm, genuine, gracious friendship and concern for others, that made her special in our eyes. So, we too, will sense her loss, in our lives. But, as Christians we know that we will see her again, and that is a great sustaining hope at this time of sadness and earthly farewell. We pray that this hope -- assurance, really -- will sustain all of you, and give you strength , and a sense of peace and contentment, even amidst the emotional buffetings of this stormy time in your life. We pray for the Lord's richest blessing on you, and your family, now, and in the days ahead. With love, and grateful hearts for the presence of both of you, in our lives, Helen & Cash Street.
Judge Drake: Vicki & I are saddened by your loss. Jane was a great lady, & she will be missed. You & your family are in our prayers.
I will miss her, and exchanging birthday cards on the 26th of June, which date we shared with Grandpa Drake. Nephew Bob

Judge Drake, so sadden over your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family
Judge Drake, Tom and Leslie, Wow, we are so saddened to hear of Mrs. Drake's passing. Our prayers are with you and your families. Such pleasant memories growing up with John and being a part of your family for all those years. Our favorite Christmas card was always the update from Okemos about the adventures of the Drake family. Your wife and mother was a wonderful, loving lady. We will miss her greatly!
Tom, Carolee and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
