Ms. Reis was one of the only reasons I can call myself a high school graduate. Her compassion was unwavering and she cared about the education of each individual student. In this conveyer belt stylized society an educator such as Ms. Reis is a priceless gem. I am saddened to hear that we have lost such a special person. I offer my condolences to her family and pray for their comfort in this moment of sadness. The memory of her kindness and understanding will forever be in my heart.
We were neighors on Hughes street, and
always enjoyed our friendship with your
family. We are very sorry for your loss.
I graduated with Jane in 1968 from MHS. She was always the girl with the cute dimples. She will be remembered at our 45th class reunion in September. Condolences to her family.
I had opportunity to work with Jane for several years prior to her retirement. She was instrumental in starting the evening "credit retrieval" program at MVHS. Jane was a "straight shooter".....firm but fair. I learned a lot from Jane working night school together for three years. She was a wonderful educator and a respected colleague.
Jane was the driving force behind many good things at Magic Valley High School. While I do not think she would take the credit for the things she did. Jane created a food bank for the students and was very instrumental in getting scholarships for the students; one of which is the Magic Valley High School Scholarship. I am proud to have had Jane as a friend and a colleague. Patty Silvers, Teacher at Magic Valley High School.
I worked with Jane at MVHS. She had a great love for her kids and grandboys! I am thankful for experiences that I shared with her both in and out of school. I will send a nod to the heavens each year as I attend my girls' recitals and Nutcracker performances. She will be remembered always and missed often. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. One more angel watching over us, thanks!
I attended Magic Valley High School and graduated in 2011. Jane was a very nice, sincere lady who will greatly be missed. We are not saying good bye we are saying see you soon. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family.
I taught with Jane at Twin Falls High
School and I relied on her expertise when she was at Magic Valley Alternative High School. She was a wonderful person and I had the deepest respect for her. I am so sorry for your loss.
I attended the Magic Valley Alternative High School, graduating in 1996. Jane was a very special member of the family we all had there. Her strength and her faith in us taught the graduating class, as well as anyone who would listen, that we all are capable of completing our dreams. Thank you for sharing your wisedom Jane. My family will hold your family and friends in our prayers.
These pictures are such a great testament to Jane's love for life, her family, & her animals. They bring back so many great memories with this very special lady. This world & all of us still in it are going to miss her. God bless her and all who are pained by her passing. Ehrin Dawson (Annen)
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
