Thank you for your smile and your warm embrace during my time spent at Penn State. And thank you for showing me the Way the Light as you continue to live in my heart my mind and my soul.
I first knew Jeanne from the Christian book store in Cary. She was always helpful and expressed the joy of the Lord. I shopped at the store regularly and usually brought my four children with me. I smile when I think of it, because later our daughter married her grandson. I know she had a great godly influence on many lives including our family. I am thankful for her and the privilege of knowing her.
Our love, sympathy and prayers to all the family.
What a beautiful Christian Lady. She always generated the love of Jesus wherever she went. Each and every time I saw her she would stop and give one of her generous hugs! I will miss her greatly; but know she is safe in our Savior's Care. God's blessings to her family.
Jeanne will always be remembered fondly by the Carsons. She generously shared her musical talents by accompanying our large extended family for our annual Christmas Caroling with Glenaire Residents and staff. Her enthusiasm and joyful spirit touched our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends as you celebrate her life this weekend. --Sue & Chris Carson
With time indefinite in our hearts even a good life of 89 years is too short. May the Father of tender mercies give you peace, as we await His assured time when "death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain anymore."
My best to all of you. Jeanne and Ed were a big part of my life when I worked for them at the Way. It was a blessing to be a part of their history. My condolences to all.
Jeanne was truly a blessing for all who knew her at Glenaire. My mom (Ruth Vosburgh) and I enjoyed all the music Jeanne provided. I was amazed at her repertoire - she could play songs to match any occasion - patriotic, birthday, Christmas, etc. She will definitely be missed. Peggy Sanford
So sorry for your loss. When reading God's word you will find great comfort.
So glad my daughter, Mary (Sappick-Sprague) saw this in the CDT. Wendell (died 2010) and I knew her pretty well in State College. Jeanne was sort of my ideal Christian woman.

As a member of the Glenaire Family, Garrett and I will greatly miss Jeanne and the joy she brought to each of us with her music each day at lunch. Sadly,we were out of town when she passed away.We send our love to Ed and the family, especially Donna and Stephanie, who along with Jeanne, brought comfort and enjoyment to my mother, Louisa Walters, during her final years at Glenaire from 1998-2006. She will be missed greatly. Sue and Garrett Briggs
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed and the family.
I have very fond memories of sweet and joyful Mrs. Adams of The Way Bookstore in State College. She helped me buy a Bible after I had become a Christian through the Young Life ministry at State College High. Jeanne Adams always had an encouraging word for all of us when we came into the bookstore. My condolences to Ed and family.
I am sad to hear of Jeanne's passing from this life. She was truly an inspiration and a source of enlightenment. I also loved Adam's Christian Bookstore. Heaven is a lot brighter with her brilliant smile. Praying for God's blessings upon her family during this time.
May the God of all comfort (1 Corthians 1:3,4) be with family and friends of Jeanne during this sad time.
The picture captures the essence of Jeanne - she always had the beautiful smile, which made me smile. Your family was truly blessed. She will be greatly missed.
Jeanne was surrounded by the joy and stability of her faith, making her a true gift of God to all. She revealed the richness of her soul through her music. Go in peace, dear friend.

Mari-Jo: Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your mother. Scripture teaches us that weeping will endure but for a night, Joy will come in the morning as you begin to remember all the good times and numerous years God allowed you to have with your mother. Just know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal. God's continuous Blessings to you and your family.

Jeanne was a blessing to me as well and I certainly missed the Adams Christian Bookstore when it closed in Cary. It was the center of my gift shopping for family and friends. My prayers go out to the family as they rejoice in their sorrow of a dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother! Love in Christ, Lorraine McNeill, Colonial sent Missionary to El Salvador with Hannah's Hands International, Inc.
The obit. captured the essence of what a wonderful Christian woman she was. She taught our grandson in SS shortly after we moved here. She loved the little ones and always showed the love and joy of the Lord on her face. She left behind a great spiritual legacy.
Though I didn't know her, Anthony, Maranatha, Donna and Steve, her face radiates the joy of the Lord. Praying for you and your family.
Jeanne was always a blessing to everyone that walked in her book store. I enjoyed seeing Jeanne even more than reading her wonderful books. My prayers are with her precious family.
Jeanne was a blessing to all who knew her. I loved her smile and helpfulness in Adams Christian Bookstore. I went there often and enjoyed talking to her. Heaven is looking better and better all the time! May our Lord comfort all your family with sweet memories and carry you through the coming days. "One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus" ?
Jeanne was the first person I met when we moved to Cary. She radiated the love of Christ. I loved being with her and joyfully volunteered at her bookstore. I will miss her, but look forward to seeing her in heaven! May God comfort the family
Jeanne was always such a blessing to our family. I would make special trips to the bookstore when my kids were little just to visit her. She had a major impact on my children when she taught all three of them at Sunday School. She was much loved and will be missed. Her legacy will continue for generations to come.
