My dear grandma, whom i miss so much. You were actually more like my mother considering mine had died when i was so young, grandma raised me for several years and i have such fond memories growing up with her in Colorado. Her sudden untimely passing took such a toll on me. I would call her on almost a daily basis just to chat with her, she would always be the first person I'd call to share my good news with, and I could always come to her with any problem and she would instantly cheer me up. Grandma had such an amazing bubbly personality, it was impossible to be anything but happy around her. I used to come and stay with her every summer and we would go to garage sales, craft stores and thrift stores finding all the best deals on such unique items. She had truly one of the most creative minds I've known. She made such intricate jewelry, beautiful floral arrangements and dolls. I would consider grandma as unstoppable, she was never one to slow down or let anything get in her way, she was 84 but never acted her age. She was so full of life and energy it was so amazing. Not a single day passes that i don't have the desire that i could simply pick up the phone and call her, I miss her so much she was the closest person in my life and without her i feel lost. I'm grateful that the last conversation we had was that I got to share the news of my new job and she was so excited, I know i was one of her biggest concerns and I'm glad to know she was rest easy knowing that I'm going to be okay. She helped me so much and was there for me when no one else was in my life, i honestly wouldn't be where I am today without her help, and for that I'm eternally grateful. Although she's no longer here in person, i feel her in spirit and i know she would be proud of me. The candle with her photo from the reception sits on my night stand and i look at it everyday wishing she was still her, theres nothing in this world that can replace a grandmothers love, and hers was one of a kind. Rest in peace grandma knowing that i love you more than anyone else on this earth and I'm honored to of been able to call you my grandma and to of shared so many wonderful memories together. I love you.
