Kim, Sheryl, Christi and Cammie,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Jerry's death. I wish I could attend the funeral but I am currently living in Japan. However, my thoughts and prayers are with you all today. I have just been thinking about all of the summers I spent with you all when we were younger and all of the baseball games we went to; Uncle Jerry was always so involved in all of your lives. Although he sometimes had a loud bark he was always there to give you all a hug and offer his words of encouragement. He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.I always have had the greatest respect for Jerry. What a great man.I have nothing but the best memories.I just really dont have the words..

I wanted the Family to know. I meet Jerry about 2 yrs ago at Wal-Mart on 10st Columbus. I would see him about once a week. He would ask me to get him a box of Choc. Donuts for they were on the bottem shelve & he needed a little help. We would talk about this or that. But we always talked about you kids ( your a little old for the term Kids ) but Jerry always said the Kids or the daughter. I had lived in Orlando for years before coming here. I retired from ORMC in orlando, then he would tell me all albout his Daughter in Tampa. He Loved & was so proud of each of you & I wanted you to know that about you DAD !! You lost your Father I'm so so sorry for that, you may be interested to know that I lost a very very dear FRIEND. May he rest in peace. We sometimes don't see our Parents as others do. He was a great Man. I will miss him.
At Cummins, Jerry was a designer’s designer. Well grounded in the basics, he took challenging work in stride. I was privileged to work with Jerry for about 5 years during the AIPS program where he led the cylinder head and fuel injector design work. His ability to overcome his physical challenges to do outstanding work was inspirational for all of us. Rest in peace, Jerry and condolences to his family and his many friends and colleagues. He will be missed.
Knowing Jerry was a true life blessing. My childhood memories include Jerry. Many girl sleep overs with his daughters, family dinners, listing to him play his guitar, softball games and working in his garage. Jerry always had a wonderful story to tell that often included life lessons. It was a priviledge to know Jerry. His determination for life was a valuable lesson for all who knew him. I know deep in my heart that Jerry is now walking if not running the streets of gold in heaven. Thank you Jerry for being such a wonderful 2nd Dad!
See you soon,
