I am so sorry to hear about Jerry! We knew the Fuller family since I grew up in Rayville. Actually saw Jackie when stopping to eat there on the way to see my brother in Ruston. Jackie shared that they were about to take fun ride near where we live now in North Carolina! My nephew married christy. Our heart goes out to the family, he was a great guy. My love to his mom!

My sympathy goes out to the Fuller family. Please find comfort in Ecclesiastes 9:5 where we read that our loved ones are peacefully asleep.

Angela, I feel very sad for you and your families loss. I really liked your dad. He was always very nice to me when I was working, and they would visit. It was obvious how much he loved you all. A true gentleman

Jerry will be missed by many. I wish I could have able to accepted his invitation to accompany him on what has turned out to be his final ride. We never know when our time on this earth will end. Jerry made the most of what time he had in this life and will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those of us who knew and loved him. Ride on Jerry ride on, clear the way for those of us who will follow you down the road to heaven.
Wanda, Pam and I hold you in our hearts and prayers wishing you all the best.

Those were memorable and happy times on weekends with the 490th. Jerry stands out in my mind. He was always energetic and a most helpful and knowledgeable mentor to this then very young 20ish girl wanting to follow in her father's footsteps and experience the Army. Wanda, my condolences to you and your family. Be blessed in the knowledge that there is no greater hope than having a relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing we will not be forever separated from our loved ones.

Wanda and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was my mentor and very good friend. I still have very fond memories of our time together at Ft. Bragg. Knowing that y'all were there made Texas seem so much closer. Until the final formation Sarge! MSG Gary W. Turner

I knew Jerry as Angela's father when she was in my 9th grade science class. And I knew Jerry as SSG Fuller for many more years in the 490th. Iknew Jerry as the husband of Wanda Fuller through school and the 490th Family Support Group. Jerry always had a smile and kind words for others.

Jerry was one of the finest Army Reservists I ever had the pleasure of serving with. He was my driver on numerous missions in Germany and I nevr felt uncomfortable with Jerry navigating the narrow city streets, the icy, windy, mountain roads and worse of all, the Autobahn! He was an outstanding non-commissioned officer and always dependable. I'm confident he is enjoying the wonder of Heaven much more than he did The Tail of the Dragon! I saw him last about three weeks ago and he was eagerly anticipating the motorcycle trip to North Carolina. Rest in peace, SSG Fuller. Mission accomplished!
