Dearest Len, Beth, Nancy, Paul and Keith: Just wanted to extend my deep sympathy to you on Joan's death. I remember Joan as a wonderful neighbor, friend, and talented lady. Her graciousness to everyone she met was such an admirable quality. Her infectious smile and enthusiasm for life is unforgetable. In the days ahead may you be comforted with your memories.

I met Joan thru Jeannie, when you were all neighbors on Acklen Avenue. She was a very sweet, warm person, and like me, a HUGE cat person. I know she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be missed by many people. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Some women just have a way of handling life with grace and dignity...
Joan was definitely one of those women. We will all miss Joan's sincere generosity, kindness and humor! We began our friendship long ago on Acklen Ave as neighbors. I enjoyed helping Joan at Christmas Village for many years. I always enjoyed hearing about the children & grandchildren. We looked forward to all those wonderful family Christmas card photos Joan & Len made thru the years.
Love, Jeannie & Steve Sudberry
