Dear Peter and family, I was deeply sadened by Joanne's passing, knew from your Christmas letter she was in poor health. I had hoped we could have gotten together one last time guess it wasn't to hahppen.
Dear Pete; Sorry to hear of your loss and wish that I had known where you went after you graduated from high school and on to college. Remember you as an individual of great class when you were in the band with me at Waite. We certainly had some top quality individuals in the class of '49 that made a great contribution to society in general. Run into Sam Szor every once in awhile and think of all those that were in the marching band at Waite. Again my deepest thoughts are with you at this time of your life.

Uncle Peter, cousins Paul and Lisa--Your wife/mother, my aunt, was such a wonderful lady! She always made sure we would remember the past. Pictures, stories and anything that would keep the Haisch, Appeddu, Keene, Purigraski memories. She will surely be missed, but never forgotten!! I know your wife/mother, Terri and my mom are looking down on all of us and we all will be reunited one day. Love to all of you, Cathy (Keene) Klotz
Peter we are so sorry for your loss. We will keep you all in our prayers. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.

Dear Appeddu Family,
I was saddened to read the passing of such a wonderful lady. May God's love support you in your time of sorrow. Prayers for all.
Your many friends at Southwestern are thinking about your family and sending our love and prayers.
Sorry to see the passing of your wife Joanne. She will be in my prayers tonight.
Long ago associate at Ohio Citizens.
I taught with Joanne in the early 80's at Jones Jr. High. We, both, taught Science and leaned on each other since that was not our field. She was very professional and a good teaching "partner". It was an honor to have been her collegue. My deepest sympathy to her family.
