John was the happy fellow who greeted you at work each morning with a smile and a up beat attitude, no matter what. Encouraging, kind, thoughtful and ever faithful. He was someone to look up to. At the Grand Trunk Railroad he was a friend to everyone, didnt matter who you were or who you worked for he was an admirable human being and friend to all. I loved how much he loved his Helen and how proud he was of her. Joe and I offer our deepest sympathy to your family for such a great loss at such a young age. John was a unique and wonderful individual. I graduated from Johnson High School in Rome, Ga with John. The world was a better place when he was here. Heaven is better now that he is there.

John was certainly one of a kind. Even in high school, his creativity was becoming very apparent. Always upbeat and innovative, he was obviously way ahead of his time. He will be missed.
Just wanted you to know how much we at Johnson High School Loved John.He was always smiling and sharing a laugh with someone. He was so very popular. I can understand why he had so many good friends in Michigan.
Always shared childhood birthdays, Christmases, Easters, and family vacations with Cousin Johnnie & his twin, Joanie. He was always collecting some sort of magazine or memoribilia or another...always ready to GO at the drop of a hat, with the Albertson "Itchy Foot" come by honestly from his dad, my Uncle Rush, and modeled by HIS uncle, my dad, Posey. He was truly ONE OF A KIND & there's a hole in the family cloth now.
He made my first trip to Vegas one to remember--so generous, lively,& funny. He is on my mind & in my heart. Good memories. Uncle J will be missed.
Dear Helen, I wanted to again express my deepest sympathy. John will be missed by many.
Helen, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. RIP John and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Uncle Jay was a wonderful, generous, humorous man to all who knew him, and always treated each and every niece and nephew as his own. We treasure all the moments we had growing up with him, and will never forget backyard barbeques, lounging in the pool, and especially staying up until wee hours of the morning playing Super Monopoly, always until he won, or we gave up. I will especially miss coming home to find him on my front porch, stopping by after a ride, waiting for a quick beer and ham sandwich, before he was off again. We love and will miss you. Thanks for being the best Uncle.
Helen, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was able to work with John for a couple of years in payroll and I'm grateful to this day for that opportunity. John was one of the most optimistic people I've ever met. Everyone knows how much John loved you and how happily married he was, he's still smiling now, good luck to you Helen.
Uncle John was a great biker, a lover of art, music, literature, film and loving to his family. A soldier, loved his country, a husband of 43 years and a great friend to whoever knew him. He was of significant influence to me and like a father. A loss that cannot be replaced yet memories that will last a life time.
Uncle John always said he wanted the following on his grave;"He was not afraid of a motorcycle." - Douglas

Dear Aunt Helen, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Uncle John's passing. Ryan really missed their outings to the comic book stores. We will continue to hold you both in our thoughts and prayers. I know Harry and Dorothy met him with open arms. God Bless
A WONDERFUL WONDERFUL HUSBAND TO MY BABY SISTER AND A WONDERFUL PERSON. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU. WE ALL LOVED YOU DEEPLY. SALLY
My heart is broken. There was only one John Albertson. He brought a smile to everyone's face with little or no effort. He was the "silver lining" everyone looks for. I'm a better person for having known him. God bless you, John.
I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave and echo
whispering down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done
Helen - So sorry to hear of Johns passing. May you find peace in knowing he is in a better place. God Bless.
Thanks for being such a good friend, John. May you rest in peace.
