All my love is pointed in your family's direction. John means a lot to me for the many lessons he taught, and the guidance he offered, me as a young man. Most of all I was always welcomed by him and your mom as family, which means the world to me. He has a wonderful legacy in my eyes. He is remembered in my prayers as he continues to fight like the John Craig I came to know and respect, and he always will be.

Truly saddened by the passing of this good man. John showed us the joy of sharing, and you knew by his actions how be loved his family. It's good to know that his light will continue to shine through the legacy of good people that he leaves in his wake.

Shine on John Craig. Your ideals will help guide me through this fantastic journey we call life.

Dear Lana and Family,
Ed and I were associated with John for a sort time in his life through the marriage of Laura and Ben. During that span we got to know John and discovered his commitment to family, love of life, and humor. He was a great human being and will be missed by all.

Lana, We were so sorry to hear of John's passing. Kim and I always enjoyed the challenge he would give to Kim for a difficult lot to build on. May you treasure your memories and know that many are thinking of you and that we have you and the family in our prayers. Love to all.

We all loved John! He challenged us as young people and always shared words of wisdom. I looked forward to every visit to the Craigs and especially the memorable lake house where so many joyful times were had by so many. John had a generous spirit and it was contagious. Lana is a beautiful example of a loyal loving wife and he was amazed at her strength. THANK YOU for being such an important part of our childhood through today. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you. Wishing you peace in knowing how John touched so many in a positive way. Your family has a special angel watching over you! Love, Justine Sweeney

Dear Lana and Kathy and families, I was so very sorry to read of John's passing. He was a great man with a great personality. My best memory of John was with Peaches in the pickup building wonderful homes in Northeast Tarrant County. My thoughts and prayers are with all.

I will always remember my grandpa as someone who was always loving and was there to help you when ever you needed him. He was a handyman who loved to do projects around the house and build (he built the swingset that is in the back yard). He was always thinking of other people. He was very active; he loved to play golf and he also rode his bike and walked the dogs every day. He was the best grandpa in the world. He is gone by will never be forgotten.

The Pizzey family are saddened by the passing of our friend John. We first met in Oct of 1976 when we moved to Arlington from Canada. John became a great friend we had many great times together in the late 70's and 1980's. We can only think of good times with John. He will be missed

Many fond memories from childhood involve John and Lana. In fact, I revived an annual Christmas tree judging contest with my neighbors! However, we never reached the level of having a neighbor hay ride to look at lights, or a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. That was a John Craig touch! My condolences to the Craig family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am truly saddened. John was a great man who I always respected. He and I were talking one time when the homebuilding industry was upside down and he told me something that I have passed on to others and still sticks with me to this day. John said "Frank, I can go broke in this business a whole lot slower doing no work as opposed to taking on bad work". Those of you in the business will understand. Rest easy John.

We send our sincere condolences to you Lana and all in your family. John was truly a remarkable man to know and he will be missed so very much. We will never forget the wonderful, funny and sincere toast John gave at our daughter Sheryl and Rob's wedding reception here in Houston. It was the absolute best and so many people commented on it. Our grandchildren Garrett, Grace and Grant always talk about good times had while visiting Papa John and Grammy Lu. We ask God to help all in your family through this difficult time.
Love,
Sandy and Wayne Theis

John will be missed by so many. He was a wonderful brother-in-law. I was so glad when he came into Lana's life and we became his family too. He was always there to help in any situation. He and Lana were an amazing couple and built an amazing legacy in their home building business. John was never short of words when it came to praising Lana for her many talents. He truly adored her. John and Lana were the most wonderful hosts and earned a Five Star rating when it came to making you feel welcome into their homes. My heart aches for the family. Only time will help heal, but John will always be remembered for his huge heart. I love you all.

John was such a wonderful brother-in-law. I could always count on him for help and support with any situation in my life. He adored my sister Lana and was never at a loss for words to tell you about all of her many talents. They worked side by side and accomplished so much. They have hosted so many friends any family in their homes and deserve a five star rating. I feel so blessed that he came into Lana's life and we became his family too. My heart aches for Lana, Meredith, Kathie, Karen, Rob, Laura and their spouses and all the grandkids. Only time will heal your pain and you will remember all the good times with John. God Bless You All. Love, Jeanie

John... even his name makes me smile. I still picture him with that knowing grin as he presents the next project to put together at the lake. I have many wonderful memories and seeing the great pictures of him with his family reminds me of all the fun and fond memories. I feel truly blessed to have gotten to know John. You will be missed.. and will always be loved.
