John and Family:
Condolences on the loss of your Dad. A true gentleman and longtime family friend will be missed
I will always recall John O'Neil as a man of integrity and kindly friendship.
He is an alumnus of PC that the college can remember with great pride, as his life brought honor to his alma mater. My deep sympathy to Kate (my former student) and to all of the O'Neill family.
On behalf of the late Adele D. Rago, and family, our deepest sympathy goes out to the O'Neil family. My late mother went to St. Peter and Paul's School with John O'Neil and he always represented her during his law practice. He was a great person, and he always reminised about the old days, and they would share a laugh. He will be missed by the many lives he touched. Sincerely, Joanne Rago West Frankfort, Illinois
We were so sorry to hear of "His Honor's" passing. His wit and wisdom will be sorely missed. He always had that twinkle in his eye and a friendly smile and was a great friend of the family's. Keep him in your hearts and they will be warmer for it.
Deepest Sympathy to the Family from the Board of Governors, Staff and Members of Montaup Country Club.
Memories of Saturday nights at Stone Bridge Inn with the O'neils, the
Hagues, the Hacketts, the Reillys, the Delaneys, the Hollands, all parents of large broods are recalled with fondness.
Good night, John, God Bless

Maggie, John, to the entire O'Neil family, I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing, he was such a good man; love and respect to all of you.
God Bless his soul, he is in Heaven with your Mom. Stay strong, your Dad would want that. Love, Cindy Dunn
My deepest sympathy to all the O,Neil family as well as Mrs. Gallant. I was part of this family for a short period of time and could not be prouder to say I knew this man, Judge O'Neil. He was a giver. He helped me out several times when I was in need. One thing I do and will always remember is his laughter. He laughed so hard-heartly. The road the family will have to follow is a long and rough one. They say time will heal. But I am sorry to say that believe me when I say it will be a long time before anyone will get over the loss of such a great man. Love and prayers always.
Dear O'Neil Family,
I send you my deepest sympathies for the death of your father. While he will be remembered by so many for his long list of accomplishments and successes, I know these pale in comparison for what he meant to all of you as a father, grandfather, and friend. I will miss seeing him and I will always remember him as a true gentleman whose smile brightened my day. He had a gift for being as interested as he was interesting, and a great conversationalist. My prayers to all of you for peace, and comfort in the knowledge that he meant so much to so many. His legacy will live on forever.
Mary, I am so very sorry for the loss of your father. May God comfort you and your family at this time. And may he rest in peace.
Dear O'Neil Family, I join with so many others who knew and had great respect for your Dad in offering my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Kristin Tallman Lane
Dear Brendan. So sorry to hear about your Dad . Deepest condolences to you and your family.God Bless.
I have so many fond memories of my Uncle John, who always called me "kiddo". Whether Lisa & I were at the Yacht Club, the Boys Club or having a sleepover at the O'Neils ( Aunt Pauline & Uncle John always said 'what's 2 more?'), we always had so much fun! There were so many cool things at our cousins' house...the secret code buzzer, a laundry chute, a playroom, so many bikes and seances with Mary ( Uncle John always made things happen). 1005 Maple Street has many wonderful memories. Uncle John will certainly be missed by many. I am so thankful for the many memories. God Bless each of you at this time...
Dear O'Neil Family,
My heart broke when I heard of the passing of Mr. O, he was a true gentleman. We were all so lucky to be brought up by such wonderful parents in such a great neighborhood. They were all such good, loyal friends who taught us by example to live, love and especially laugh! I know there is a reunion of the "Sacred Heart Gang" going on in heaven right now! May you find peace with all your great memories.
Carol,Greg, Lauren and Libby Magner

I first met John playing CYO baseball, he for Sacred Heart and I for Immaculate Conception. We next came together in Bambridge MD in the US Navy Boot Camp and later in life in Fall River in professional practice. I was blessed to know him. Ted Pettine, age 86 on 08/19/2013
