When I remember John, I think of kindness and gentleness. Enjoyed our talks at the grocery store when I would run into you after my yoga class. Always enjoyed the good food you would bring to our home group at Indian Hills. Absolutely shocked that you would be taken from us so suddenly. Makes me realize to never take anyone for granted that we will see them again. Your sweet spirit remains ever near even though you have crossed over to the other side. Dear Family,

Although I do now know any of you I have been privileged to know and fellowship with John for more than 20 years at Indian Hills.

My sincere condolences to each of you. John knew my dear wife Betty also and she passed in 2010. Thankfully, and by his grace, we know where their spirits now reside. Yes, they have been promoted.

Let yourselves be comforted and encouraged by His sweet Spirit.

Sincerely,

Dr. Milton Harbuck

John,
I am going to miss you alot. I have enjoyed being with you on Saturdays going out to eat, or just sitting at the house cuddling up together watching television and talking. It has been great knowing and caring for a wonderful man like you for the last four years.

John was a long time member of our Indian Hills Church home group and Friday Night Supper Club. It wasn't the same tonight without him, but we celebrated him eating at one of his favorite places. We enjoyed the soft serve ice cream in his honor. John, we miss your laugh, your keeping us up on current events and when we watch NCIS we'll always think of you. We love you, John Boy!

John, we are really going to miss you. Your sense of humor, your laughter and your funny jokes kept us laughing. We will never forget the joke that you couldn't ever tell right, "He's cripple, you know." Gary and the rest of the Home Group will miss your good cooking. We are just going to miss YOU.

We love you John,
