Dear Mary Jane -- I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. What a great man he was and what a legacy he has left. May you find comfort in knowing what a positive impact he had on so many lives, not only students, but in the community. I will always remember how supportive he was of you when you taught my girls in Autonburg, many years ago.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Schultz. The family of chemistry majors at Westminster in the late 60's was a wonderful community of learning about chemistry and the academic life. Dr. Schultz provided us all with not only the facts of science but also the joy of discovery and learning. His committment to Westminster and students was second to none. While the loss is I know very hard for the family please know that Dr. Schultz will always be part of a large group of Westminster students who continued on in a life of science and discovery that was launched in his classrooms. For that I will always be grateful. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and please accept my gratitude for all that your husband, father, brother and grandfather gave to us all.

As one of the first faculty members I got to know when I started at Westminster College 15 years ago, Dr. Schultz will always be remembered fondly. I so enjoyed our discussions about the history of the College, and in particular, the IT department. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and wealth of friends all over the world.
I am very sorry for your loss. John was a mentor, colleague and friend. I respected working with him on a number of important ceremonies at Westminster.
I was honored to have known Dr. Schultz as a student and subsequently as a journalist during his school board tenure. It was during his chemistry class that I realized I was going to be an English major. Thanks for clearing that up, Dr. Schultz! My condolences to the family for your loss.
Joh, our deepest sympathy.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember many Scouting events with your dad, as well as all the school activities we kids did together that your parents supported. John & Mary Jane were friends with my folks for many years, and I know that friendship was greatly appreciated. Sending hugs and prayers.
Dr Schultz taught me so much more than organic chemistry. My condolences to his family
