Associate Chaplain Johnny Cayton was a beloved member of our Genesee County Jail Ministry Team for several years after his retirement from GM. He brought to our team his down-home humor and had us laughing over and over again during our times together. His delight was to be a part of our prayer team on Wednesdays and Fridays each week and he taught a Bible class to inmates each Friday along with counseling inmates. When his health went down, we all missed his presence with us. With his unique sense of humor, we are sure he will be a great joy and blessing to others in the life to come in Christ. On behalf of the Forgotten Man Ministry team at the Genesee County Jail please accept our condolences to the entire family as we are so grateful to God to have spent time with Johnny here on this earth sharing Jesus with those incarcerated in the jail. We can never out-give God and will shall see our brother again heaped over with treasures from God for his service to our Lord here on earth. Our prayers for the family are attached along with these brief thoughts and precious memories of our beloved brother Johnny Cayton.
