I have awesome brothers and I love them all. If God allows brother, stay near me o k, I still need you. David
Today is your one year anniversary on leaving
us all to be with our good Lord. I think of you often. Until we meet again, Rest in Peace.
I coincidently found out Grandma had passed,
and wondered why you hadn't called to let me know... and I found out you were gone. What a shock, and I just thought you were extra busy? I remember you use to tell Grandma you were leaving before her. Grandma did so much for us. You made me realize the important things in life, I will never forget you. Thank You for calling me and telling me how you felt... turns out right before you left for a better place. You will always be rememebered. Watch over us.
You know bro, I find myself talking to you all the time and I know you're listening. I talked to mom today, she loves God and she loves you. She knows without a doubt you're in the presence of Our Lord. I told her that I know but it still hurts. This is crazy.
As God is my witness, losing a brother has been a traumatic experience in my life and I hope that God will bring His Peace to our entire Family.
We will meet again! Brother David
Reason, Season, or Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant

Our prayers are with you all.May God confort you all during the lost of a Great cousin friend May you rest in peace. Luv always Boog&Lydia Martinez
John was the investigating officer on my first felony trial, a case that later went all the way to the California Supreme Court and made new case law. It was due to John's amazing skills at investigating and testifying that we prevailed. He was a fantastic officer, and just as outstanding as a friend. Either way, John always had your back. That is no small thing in this world. Goodbye my friend. Colleen Maas, retired D.A.
