Grandad was such a kind man. It was my pleasure to sit w/him at night for the past few months. I'm going to miss my little nite owl, as I so fondly called him. We think of your family as part of our family. With much love & prayers.
My deepest sympathies to family and friends. May our Father in heaven give you strength during this trying time...

I met "Granddad" through his grandson, Michael Echols and his wife, Jennifer. He was a great man and always made you feel like you were part of the family!!! Mike & Jenni are very dear friends to us. I hope they (Love & Echols families) are finding peace in this most difficult time.

Joe and I played baseball at Grant Park about 1939 and 1940. Nice fellow. Saw
him a few times in the 60's or 70's in
downtown Atlanta (I also owned a business downtown).
Joe was a true southern gentleman, a respected businessman and a good friend. He will be sorely missed.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Joe, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
God Bless you and please accept our sincere condolences

Dear Mike, Jenni and family,
We are so sad to hear about the loss of your beloved Grandfather. As we read the obituary,Joe, saw that your Grandfather went to Tech High. Jody's Grandfather and Great Uncle also went there. Your Grandfather was two years older than Pappy,so they probably knew each other. I just thought what a great and lovely coincidence it is that two high school friends from Atlanta would each have grandsons who went to high school together and became brothers. We love you.
What an amazing life he lived! In sure him and Kay Kay are holding hands and loving being reunited. Love you guys!
