Pat and family, I'm so sorry to not make his funeral today I wanted very much to be there to share in your grief. Joe was a man who witnessed his faith every day he truly lived out what the gossip of Jesus is for all of us. His walk out-ran his talk, as Joe was not a talker but a doer and in doing showed us all how to live the truth.

I think Joe is one of the rare people we come in contact with that no one has a mean word to say about. (The same goes for Pat). I lived my childhood on French Island (Even though I moved twice)....Joe was still my neighbor. Joey and I are time twins. How the two families managed to have that happen I will never know! Blessing and prayers to all of you. He is a wonderful man who touched many hearts!
Thoughts and prayer to you Pat and the family. <3
Pat, My heart goes out to you and your family during the sad loss of Joe. However, knowing you, you are grateful at the same time for having had the opportunity to fall in love and marry such an awesome man. You both were so lucky. Joe was an awesome Gentleman. There are very few people, along with my Dad, that I comfortably can call "Gentleman." Joe had a way of making everyone feel special. I assumed that visitation would be later because his obituary didn't show in the BD News. I have doctor appointments tomorrow, but my payers are with you now and will be tomorrow. It was so easy to love you and Joe. My sympathy to his entire family. Love, Wayne
My deepest condolence to Pat and the children Your all in my thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful and caring man.
To the entire St.Louis family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow. May your memories help you though.
Pat, I have never loved a man I barely knew as much as I loved Joe. He was always teasing or he and I would sit on your porch talking while smoking. He taught me some French words and I thought the world of him.
I have no doubt in my mind that he is in Heaven now, enjoying being in the presence of our Precious Savior and those he loved and lost in the past. He is looking down at you and will help you to stay strong.
He and you both had/have such a strong faith that I know it will carry you through the tough times ahead for you. Remember, I stay up all night quite frequently and you can call me anytime. I'll always have time for you.
Love, Susan and Don
Grandpa I remember you and me going fishing, you would tease me endlessly and how much we were all loved by you. I hope you know how much you are loved in return. Until we meet again in Heaven. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!
My deepest sympathies to Pat, children and family. Joe was truly an extraordinary man. Find peace in the fact he is with his Heavenly Father, joy in the remembrance of the happiness you gave to one another, and strength in your own faith. Love to you all.
To Joe's family
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss…our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
