Judi, We met so many years ago, when I was just a child. You were a wonderful addition to the Bracco family, and you were always very kind to me. Over the years, our families grew apart, but I would always think about you all. May you find comfort now, and be free.... Jody & family (Dottie & Jimmy's grand-daughter)

Judi, how I would love to chat to you one more time. It's hard to find the right words to describe you, because you were truly one of life's special people. Warm, funny, energetic, dynamic, beautiful, generous and so kind, even with everything you were going through. You are a big loss to the world, and especially to those who loved you. We will never forget you.

Judi, I will miss you. We had some great laughs, on both sides of the Atlantic. You were always so kind and generous, giving me support when I needed it, and opening your heart to me. Eve, my mum, thought the world of you.Goodbye my American friend.

Momma, I love you so...

From our first meeting you welcomed me warmly as one of your own, and in the years since you have helped to fill the void left by the loss of my own dear mother. You are one of the kindest, most generous and most thoughtful people I have ever known. You will forever be loved and missed and will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Rest in peace, my dear friend, I'll always remember the great cooking, the many meals you supplied and we shared together, the kindness and love you and your family showed me and the constant laughter you brought to my life.

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.
