I just learned of Ken's passing. Ken lived right across the hall from me in Abilene, and I felt so safe because he was there. He was a delight to work with and call friend. I know his family must miss him terribly, but Heaven is an even brighter place because of his presence. God bless you all.
I met Mr. Brazzle many years ago when I was a high school athlete in town. Growing up as a paper boy delivering the Tucson Citizen and being a sports fan, I knew of him and enjoyed reading his columns. When I met him I was impressed. He seemed to be such a genuine and straight forward person. Later in the season, after we lost in the state playoffs, I looked up in the stands and saw him. I sat down and visited with him and he helped me, a seventeen year old high school student, find perspective in what seemed like such a crushing loss. He didn't have to say anything, but he did. And I am a better man for it. I remember him fondly and am very sorry for his family's loss.
It was an honor for me to have worked with Ken, and to have hired him at the Citizen. I'm proud to be able to call him friend and colleague. Rest in peace, Ken.
Ken was a dear friend and the world is a poorer place without him.

He was and still is a decent and honest journalist that kept it real and understood the struggle. May god bless him and his family? Heaven will get some good inside information. You were always appreciated!
My classmate... a good journalist and a nice guy. I was a pleasure to know and work with him.
As a former teacher of Kenneth at East Texas State University, I am saddened beyond words at learning of his death. Kenneth was always one of my favorite students. He was a hard worker with an outstanding attitude. His gentle personality and infectious laugh will always be in my memory. He was a good Christian man who will now rejoice in his place in Heaven. May you rest in peace Kenneth.
Braz and I were "competitors" professionally, but I always considered him a friend and a man of integrity. I was blessed to know him.
I was honored to have sat next to Ken in the press box during many of my assignments. He was genuine to the core, an unassuming and forthright person with great character. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
I was fortunate to work with Braz on many occasions while at the Tucson Citizen. He was always a pleasure to work with. Prayers to his family.
Deacon Brazzle was a very kind person. I had the privelege of helping him brush up on his typing skills. He will be missed. Rest in Peace.
I will miss you Deacon Brazzle. Thank you for being so helpful to me and my family. Losing you is going to be tough for all of us but you were a blessing to me and others.

Here was a good and gentle man, and he leaves much too soon. A fine sportswriter, and a great member of the Citizen family. I was fortunate to have worked with him.
