To my wonderful husband. It has been 1 month today, and seems like years since i saw you last. In another way it seems like only yesterday. Sunday's are hard, because God called you home on that day. It hurts so bad, but i thank God you didn't have to suffer anymore. Honey you have a new body, and can breathe now and walk without getting tired. Thank - you God for not letting him suffer anymore. God will get me through this. I pray each day for his strength. Love you Ken with all my heart. Till we meet again. Your alway's in my heart.

So very sad to hear about Kenneth. My husband Bill and I went to school with him. He was always a lot of fun to be around. We do not know what we would have done without him last year dealing with the tragic death of daughter Tabatha Spake Heavner.
Our love, prayers. and sympathy are offered out to his family and loved ones.
Sincerely,
Bill and Debbie{Shull} Spake

Just a note to Kenny's wife Cynthia, family & the staff of Hickory Funeral Home. I have been in the funeral supply business for over 23 years calling on the Hickory Funeral Home in Hickory and Kenny was a icon there. He will be surely missed. He was a compassionate, dedicated funeral director with attention to detail. Let light perpetual shine upon Kenneth Willard Campbell. My deepest sympathy for your loss. I will surely miss him, when I drop by Hickory Funeral Home because he was always there working with families. May the peace of the Lord be with the Campbell family and all the staff of Hickory Funeral Home. Carol Poole (Ambassador Assoc. Funeral Supplies-Maiden, NC)

So sorry to hear about Ken. Our whole family had known him thru the Hickory Funeral Home for years and thought the world of him. My husband had gone to school with him and he was the most likeable person and always offering to help in any way he could during difficult times for our family. He will be deeply missed. Prayers are with his family and loved ones from Teresa Bumgarner and the Paul Abernathy family.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have known Kenneth since we were children. His parents and my parents were very good friends. I have seen Kenneth many times through the years as he directed funerals and at our church, Winkler's Grove Baptist Church. I will miss seeing his smiling face.

Willard has always put a smile on my face ever since I met him while he was an EMt with Catawba County. There are so many great times I got to share with Willard and if I ever do write a book he and Ron Lock will take up many chapters!!!!! Ill sure will miss laughing and seeing one of my true life long legends!!!! If everyone was like Willard the world would be a much happier and funny place. Glad he does not have to suffer any longer and he will be a legend in my mind forever!!!! Thanks for the laughts!!!!!

So shocked, it's hard to believe. Worked with Ken for many years at Hickory Funeral Home and when I moved away from Hickory, I would go by and visit him when I came home. Rest in peace buddy, God Speed.

I am so sorry. When I talked to him on the phone recently, he did not tell me how sick he was. He helped me bury 4 family members- including my brother Don McGalliard- who thought the world of him. May God bless you and bring you peace.

So sorry for your loss. I have know Kenneth since we were tots going to Winklers Grove Baptist Church and I can truly say he will be missed. My husband, Duane and I thought a lot of Kenneth and conversed a lot together at church. We had some laughs together in Sunday School on January 26th, 2014 about our childhood together at church. I regret that we will not be able to attend his services due to the birth of our grandson and our traveling to Kentucky. May God bless you all and thank God Kenneth does not have to carry his oxygen with him no more and is happy in our Lord. He was always so nice to us and so good at his job. We will miss him...........
