There are no words that can express our sadness on the passing of Kim. Kim was a generous, hardworking loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. She would help you with anything if you just asked her. She had a way of making you laugh and feel good about yourself. It was a priviledge to have known her and spend time with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Paul, Tamara, and Evan at this difficult time. We will all miss Kim but I know she would want us to remember her with a smile and be happy.

Such a wee little lady...such a big heart and love of life! The world is a better place for Kim having been in it. With all her unspoken deeds of charity for others, all the life that she brought to the party and anything else she chose to do, Kim not only touched many lives but made a difference in such a way that her warmth lives on so strongly. She showed such grace and strength of character. Kim truly was a gift in herself and I am grateful for her influence in my life and my family's.
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
I send my sincere condolences to the Ferguson/ MacDonald families. Michi Waddell (Niece to Elaine and John Ferguson)

Today I walked down by the Bay
And tossed a pink carnation
In memory of a team-mate and friend
A courageous Pink Sensation.
We'll miss her sense of humour
Her feisty Irish ways
We'll remember how she made us smile
On dark and gloomy days.
She longed to paddle in the boat
And fought with all her might
The woman in the red shoes
Who danced and danced all night.
The world is a much sadder place today without Kim's exuberance, enthusiasm and wonderful, zany sense of humour. I only had the opportunity to paddle with her for the one year and that time will always be treasured.
My thoughts go out to her family at this time of sorrow.
Kim will be so missed, she always brightened a room whenever she entered. She always made us laugh and taught us to enjoy life. I thank her for that.
Dear Paul and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. The walk seems long but the memories you have will last forever.

I was so sorry to hear the news about Kim today. She was such a lovely, happy person; you couldn't help but be drawn to her. Every time Paul and Kim would visit, you felt close to her right away - as if she lived down the street and not a few provinces away. (Very much like all of you guys)
