God made one of a kind when he made Jack. I am thankful that I had Jack as a boss and mentor but most of all as a friend. I will miss him, but I am glad his suffering is over. I feel sure he is already running a small part of Heaven.

I am so sorry that I cannot attend the service for Jack. He was a great man. It was my honor to work for him for over seven years. He hired me when I was a senior in high school and I went to work for him full time when I graduated in 1962. I have some fond memories of those days working in the little house in Decatur with Jack, Tom, Larry, Jackie and Barbara, and later on the top floor of the bank building. Ann, I know you and the family will miss him terribly - I know, because I lost my precious N.A. in December at the age of 69, but you have all the good memories to help you through this very difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
