I have gotten to the point where I'm feeling sorry for us. Sorry for myself, Kurt & Mary Ann, Larry's family at Antonio's, Pat, Lori & Jack, Cindy & Will and everyone that knew Larry.
Larry worked with friends, he went to breakfast, lunch & dinner with friends and went home at night to his best friends. If you had ever hung out with Larry, you became his friend. All he ever cared about was his family, his dogs and his friends.
But, we are missing more than just a friend.
You see, Larry was patient.
Larry was kind.
Larry did not envy, did not boast and was not proud.
Larry did not dishonor anyone.
He was not self serving.
He was not easily angered and keep no record of wrong doing.
Larry did not delight in evil but rejoiced in the truth.
Larry always protected trusted, hoped and stuck with all of his friends.
And that my friends, is what we are missing and why I'm feeling sorry for us - we are missing the Love Larry had for us. Many of us will recognize the above as the Biblical listing of what Love is and once you apply Larry's name to the list, you realize how pure his heart really was.
Thank God for Larry!

I would like to extend my condolences to Larry's family for their loss. I will miss Larry tremendously. Larry was a great friend and a great financial advisor. I have known Larry since the early 1980's. My mother met Larry first while working for Dr. Gerson. Larry began handling the financial affairs for my parents and myself. As our friendship grew I found out that Larry(1971) and I(1975) both attended North Shore High School in West Palm Beach. Around 1984 Larry and my parents waited in the Burg and Divosta lottery line in order to buy a home in Jupiter at the Bluffs. Larry loved living at the Bluffs. It was a great accomplishment for Larry to open his own CPA practice. I will miss Larry's friendship, his honesty and his straight forwardness. Thank you to the family who adopted Larry's two German Shepards. Larry loved his dogs. No more worries Larry. Rest in Peace. Kim Cavanaugh

Larry,
I have not seen you since High School until we connected at Sonny's about a year ago. After that day, when my wife and I would go to Sonny's, we would see you there from time to time. It was a fantastic very short catch up on life. You will be missed my friend. God Bless.

Larry was an honest and genuine gentelman. He will be greatly missed by those who truely knew him. He was one of the wittest individuals I've ever known and would hold his own, and then some, in "jovial banter". R.I.P. my friend.

Peace to this kind and gentle human being. Hebrews 13:1-8

Dear Dr. Gerson and Mr. and Mrs. Gerson,
Our sympathy is with you. Larry was a sweet, lovely, considerate neighbor and we will miss him. His gift with dogs is an inspiring example of how caring for animals is rewarded with loyalty and love.
Sincerely yours,

Larry and I had some really good times in High School, fishing bluefish in the Intracoastal, and in fact, the biggest king mackerel I ever caught was with Larry in the ocean off the Palm Beaches. We drifted apart once at the University of Florida, and as I look back, I am responsible for that, but it does not change good thoughts and prayers I have for him today, at this moment. Ollie, as I sometimes called him at North Shore, I'll see you when the time is right ...

Larry graduated from North Shore High School a year after I did and I remember him from those really good years. I got to know him a little better as we both pursued our professions and thought he was smart and pleasure to be around.
My condolences to the Gerson family.

Larry,

You have been the best friend anyone could hope to have had in their life.

It is with such a heavy heart and sadness, I write this testimony to ya guy.

We spent so much time together and shared many a laugh and many a tear. I'll always remember how you especially enjoyed and spoke of my Livie loving to join us at Palm Beach Ice Cream. You really loved that girl.

It's so hard to recall all we've done together, trip to our cabin, New Year's Eve trip to Key West, many, many cook outs at our home, dog shows way back when, where we would just go out there on a Friday and sit and observe all the different breeds. Remembering, how we both really fell in love with the bernese mountain dogs.

All the holidays we shared, dinners out. The list goes on and on.

You were always so interested in how my girls and Jack's boys were doing and hoping for their well- being and success. The laughs we shared over Gina tried so hard to get you to take her shopping.
?
I'll never forget the look on your face when Scarlett was having puppies, nor will I forget the excitement in your eyes as you picked up Shemp and Elke as you brought them home and into your life.

I respected you immensely for your dedication and the time you spent with Mark.

You should be an inspiration to others, how family and friends should be our most treasured focus in life.

You spoke so often, of how good friends are everything in life. You not only talked the talk, but truly walked the walk.

I pray you're now enjoying emotional everlasting peace, dancing with your mom, romping with Moe and Curly.

For all of us mourning Larry, it's ok, ok to mourn, ok to love, to have known him is to have loved him.

I will think of and miss you always, until we meet again God Speed, my friend.

Larry was a patient of mine and I had the opportunity to see him many times over the past few years. We would chat about everything from restaurants to his dogs. He was kind enough to send me a holiday card one year which featured a photo of him and his dogs. Larry was always very pleasant and professional and I enjoyed knowing him. My sincere condolences go to his father and brother.

Our family's heart goes out to the Gerson family. We met Larry through the dog club, and clearly saw his love for his shepherds. We cherished his humor and enjoyed his wit. Larry will be missed.

I met Larry when we were freshmen at the University of Florida. He knew he wanted to be a CPA and he worked hard at college so he could achieve that goal. Once he was a CPA, he worked hard at keeping up with the changes in laws and serving his clients. Although he lived and worked in the Miami and West Palm Beach areas and we were living 400 miles or so apart, we stayed in touch through the years. I will miss his friendship and easy sense of humor. He loved his German Shepherds and he told me over and over about his friend who took care of his dogs while he was in the hospital. This person and her husband frequently ate dinner with Larry. In case Larry could not tell you how much this meant to him, I wanted to tell you! Thank you for being such a good friend to Larry. I will miss him.

Life is nothing without friends and from the look of friends you had your life was anything but nothing. Unfortunately death is the one appointment we all must keep, and for which no time is set. Thanks for the opportunity to have known you!.
