Uncle Larry it is still hard for me to believe you are gone.I sit in my rocking chair and look at the picture frame I made for you and think of old times as a kid.You were so kind and fun to be around. You let me do chores around your house and pay me to do so..it's how I got coffee cake every morning in Jr. High!! I remember your laugh..and that makes me cry. I know you are no longer hurting and in pain, and for this I am thankful for you.I miss you and I love you and I will for Always and Forever!

Larry was hands down one of our most loyal and hardest working members of the Apple Valley Marine Corps League. He was a charter member and worked faithfully from our very first organizational meeting in January of 2011, right up to the Christmas party last week. Larry was also our first Sgt of Arms. He will be deeply missed. The Detacment officers will stay in touch with the family to insure they are secure and cared for with shelter and spiritual needs. Any family member may feel free to call me. Mike Brewer/Commandant; Apple Valley Marine Corps League. 760-550-8083. Semper Fi Larry and keep those gates of heaven open for us!
