Hello Mr. Leonard W. Affeldt, you may not recall me, I am your nephews friend. Garrett James, brought me along to a holiday gathering, dinner. It was warm, the food was fantastic and I shook alot of hands but don't remember exactly how I met, mostly you and Tom. Garrett said you like to keep the house warm. It was very warm. Thank you for that holiday, thank your family. (I don't know if these entries are taking?) God bless you, your family and all extended family. Take care, Kelly

Harriet & Family,
You are all in our thoughts & prayers as you grieve this earthly loss of your husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, friend. Len always had a smile, a hug and a kiss for us whenever we saw him. The last time was when we were out at Ron's (Tony's) because Tony's health was also failing and the guys just loved to get together with their guitars and banjos and jam together .. what fun times!! We'll always remember the amazing music that Len, his dad and brothers made together when we'd gather at Uncle Russ's & Auntie Florence's house. Boy, could those guys play!!! We remember the first time we met you, Harriet, when Len brought you to a family gathering. We were all SO young!!! And you've been a loving, faithful wife to Len ever since. God bless you with wonderful memories and the thought of all the guys being together again playing their incredible music!! They're jammin' in heaven for sure!!! God bless all of you.

My sincere sympathy to Harriet and all the family. My cousin "Butchie" will always be remembered as a happy, smiling kid...I can still picture him and Tommy, Ronnie, Lee, Aunty Florence & Uncle Russ, playing music on Sunday afternoons at their house where we all gathered for dinner. They sure must be making beautiful music in heaven now :) God Bless! Love, Jackie

Dear Harriet & Family: We are so sorry to hear of Leonard's passing. Seems like yesterday we were all kids and as others had mentioned, all spending time together at Uncle Russ and Aunt Florence's. May the wonderful memories, of the many years together, sustain you during this time.

To the Affeldt Family,
Heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I remember "Butch" well from my growing up days in Northeast . Always ready to jam at our house. He and Jerry are probably already jammin" together with Richard Washburn nearby. Thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Harriet and family: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. I have so many found memories of Lenny growing up and all of the times we spent listening to him play, either with Uncle Russ and Aunty Florence and all the boys or just him himself. I'll always remember spending weekends at your house when I babysit the kids. I will carry these memories with me always. Love to you all.

Dear Harriet and family. My heart goes out to you at this sad time. "Butch" will be missed by many. I grew up with him thinking of him as another brother. He was always there for me when we visited Auntie Florence and Uncle Russ. Love to you. Patty Affeldt LeVoir
