To all my dear cousins - I am sorry for the loss of Aunt Lois. I have so many memories of her growing up at the house in Glen Ellyn. She was a fabulous cook and her wicked sense of humor came shining through. My thoughts are with you all as you face the Holiday season without her. I know what you are going through and as time passes days get easier and then something will bring memories flooding back to give you pause. Know that she is surrounded by those who love her and she is happy and pain free at last. I bet she's playing cards with Daniel! Love to you all.
To all of my cousins....A big hug. I am happy I was able to speak with your Mom on the phone a few months ago. Through the years I learned to appreciate her very dry sense of humor. While others shook their head I was laughing inside & out. I am full of wonderful memories. I hope that your memories will help to fill the void that has been left by your mothers passing.
Lois.. I am grateful having the opportunity to speak to you in the past months. Those few precious moments we shared I will treasure forever.
You are missed by all who loved you and will never be forgotten.
Hugs & XX's,
My deep condolences to Aunt Lois's family. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but George spoke of her from time to time with apparent pith and fondness. Daniel and I also talked of her a lot, by which I feel that I almost knew her. He and I discussed her most recently a few months ago, when I had inquired after her. She was obviously well-loved by all. Kudos to Tina, for having looked after her in her last years.
When someone lovely leaves our lives, we are diminished, but lifted by our memories.
My love and sympathy to you all,
We are going to miss you, thanks for the memories. Val
Thank you for a valuable lesson that I understood as a little girl. Not with words but with your actions you showed me that life has its ups and downs. In difficult times you taught me not to get too caught up in my circumstances. That lesson continues to serve me well giving me strength, solace, joy and gratitude. I will forwever be grateful to you, thank you.
