We will be thinking about you in your loss, and wishing you peace and gentle comfort.
Joy and I send our Love. Your Mom was special, so glad we met her!
Judy, Kathy, Randy, Robert and Families,
We are so sad to hear of Aunt Lorraine's passing. We feel very blessed to have spent time with her in March. What joy that brought us! She is an amazing woman and we are both better people for having known her. Please know our prayers continue for you all as you continue to process this grief. May God give you strength and peace. How great it is to know she is with her Lord!
We will miss your mom. She was always so kind to me.
Judy and Kathy,
We just found out about your mother. We are so sorry. We know what you are going through. It is never easy to lose your mother even if she was sick. But know that we are thinking about both of you and that lots of love and hugs are coming your way. Hang in there-- Hope to see you this fall at the beach!
Love to you both,
Judy and Family,
Holding you close in thought and praying that memories will bring you peace and comfort.
Remembering Lorraine and Mom's Weekend at the Alpha Chi Omega House! Great times! Also being a guest in her lovely home once I came back to school from D.C. and then again for your wedding. I know you all will miss her greatly!
Sending my love and prayers,
So sorry for your loss. Your Mother was a super lady. She was so nice to us when we were in St. Louis. Know that we are thinking of you at this time.
Just wanted to tell you I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. My sincere condolences.
We were so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a very kind person, with a forever smile--same as your dad. We always enjoyed visiting with your parents at your caroling parties. She was very lucky to have 2 of her 4 kids in town. She was a wonderful mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, etc., to all. May fond memories of her help all of you through difficult times ahead.
Although I did not know your mother over a long period, I did have the pleasure of being with her in our Bible Study Group in the past 2 or 3 years. She was a lovely woman with a warmth and sincerity which you couldn't help but feel. I am sure the memorial service will be meaningful for you and your family and for all the many friends that Lorraine had in our church and in all the other places where she played such a big role.
Kathy Smith and Family,
Praying for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to help you smile again. Just thinking about you.
Dear Judy and Carl,
Have been thinking of you so often in recent months, knowing how hard it is to watch someone you love become incapable of caring for themselves. Your "force" of a mother amazed me. To see your mother so alert, aware of the world and still able to express opinions that were so insightful - WoW! I'll be thinking of you and please know that if you need to talk anytime please call. With much empathy,
The Orr Family,
We express our sincere love and sympathy. May God bring you Peace and Comfort and a closer walk with "Him". Our sweet memories will never die - only grow sweeter! Love,
Judy and Carl,
Thinking of you and hoping you will find comfort in special memories. So sorry to hear about your Mother. As always,
Dear Judy and Kathy,
Your Mom was such a wonderful person; she will be truly missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love,
I just want you to know that your parents were wonderful to visit with at church each week. They were always smiling and happy to greet us. We will miss their smiles. Hope all is well with you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Take care,
Judy, Carl, Kelsey and Douglas,
Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and your family during this time of loss and sorrow. May you find comfort in the memories your family shares of a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. We always enjoyed visiting with Lorraine, as it was a blessing to know her. Love,
I know you find comfort in a joyous reunion with your loved ones. Sincerely,
Dear Judy, Kathy, Robert and Randy,
I am so sorry for your loss of your dear, sweet Mother. What a fine woman she was. Wish I had met her earlier in my life. I never felt an age difference when I was with her. How blessed you are to have had such a remarkable woman for your Mom. She had a strong Christian faith, and her actions and volunteer work were her gifts to God. I am thankful for our friendship. With sincere sympathy,
Your Mother and I had great times together and I will really miss her. I know the service was a great tribute to her life with all the music to bring it all together. I hope we can keep in touch as I truly loved your Mother.
To Lorraine's Children,
Although I met your Mother late in life it was truly a pleasure to become acquainted with her. First, Virginia Lydon and I attended a choir concert in which Lorraine participated. Some time later we went to your Dad's Memorial Service. Last fall Lorraine was a most gracious host to us in her new home, although she was already quite ill. Having known her is an experience I treasure. You were all given a great gift in your parents. Sincerely,
To Lorraine's Family,
Everyone loved your Mom! She will live in our hearts always as we remember a friend who lived life to the fullest and spread joy and understanding to all. Truly she reflected God's love and grace. Take care and God Bless each and every one of you. Fondly,
To the Lorraine Orr Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. Many memories and prayers along the way. Love,
We are sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My dears: Kathy, Judy, Robert and Randy,
what a joy Lorraine was to know and be with. I will always think of her in our two special places - Thursday Bible Study and especially the choir. You all were wonderful children to her. I know it is so difficult to give her up. We will all miss her greatly, but are secure in knowing where and how she is now. I send you each my prayers and love,
We will all miss your Mother! We will keep you in our prayers. Love,
Dear Judy and Carl,
We are so very sad to hear about Lorraine's death, but we know she had a wonderful life! She was such a classy lady. We really admired her spunk and independence in being able to drive herself all about town. Lorraine was so dear to us, and a vital part of our family. We loved her, too! With Deep Sympathy
Joan and I were deeply saddened by Lorraine's passing. All of the local classmates appreciated very much each time that Lorraine and you took the time and effort to travel such a distance to join us. At our luncheon next Wednesday, all who are present will memorialize Lorraine verbally and in spirit.
Judy, Carl, Doug and Kelsey,
I am so sorry to hear that Lorraine has passed. She was always such a classy and kind lady. I hope she is with Clyde and in peace. Sincerely,

How blessed you were with such a wonderful Mother. She was always such a joy to be around. I so admired her strength and strong will to keep on moving. What an inspiration she was to me and I am sure to many others. She will be missed by many, but what a legacy she has left behind. What a pleasant thought to see her and Clyde together again. I know he was there to welcome her! Be proud of yourself also for being such a loving, caring daughter, especially during these last months. Love you,

Dear Judy, Randy, Kathy and Robert,
Randy called me to tell me that your dear Mom was now in heaven having a grand time with your Dad and my folks.
God bless the four of them on their heavenly reunion and on their ultimate "double date". Randy said, "When we hear thunder, it will be our folks having a grand time".

Thank you Kathy, for your e-mail of Friday June 21st to tell us about your Mom's passing. We appreciate all you do to keep us in touch.
Here is another sign that has meant a lot to me: To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.
I recall sayings of my parents and share the memories. For instance, your Uncle Orth would say with a big grin and with a twinkle in his blue eyes, "God bless you real big". Love,
