Here's to the memories that transcend the written record. Peace to us all.
I only knew one grandparent, but I'll take my one over any other four any day. Grandmama was everything I could have ever wanted in a grandmother: unflinchingly kind, honest and genuine, while also being the funniest person I've ever known. She was the focal point of a rich and diverse family, and there will never be a day where I don't remember where I come from or what I have to offer, because of her influence which I will cherish for the rest of my life. I love you always Grandmama.
I remember your mom as such a sweet person when she would come to visit my Granny (Annie Coyle) when we were there. What fun she was! Wish I could have known her better. Praying for you all as you adjust - I know you will miss her.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Lou. I remember her as such a gentle lady who was always supportive of her children. And being a "railroad brat" who lived in the same neighborhood, I had many occasions to be around your mom through Susie who was also a dear friend. Lou told Susie and me once that we were "double trouble" because what one of us couldn't think to do the other one could! My heart goes out to all of you at this time. Let your memories comfort you.

Thanks for the kind thoughts mahal ko. And all are deeply felt and my family and I appreciate it very much! There will be a permanent site coming soon! And you're on the list, with many others, as we miss, and remember, and continue to love our sweet mother. Thanks, and my best regards to all.
We hear horror stories about mothers-in-law, but I have no similar story. Louise was the most perfect mother-in-law. She never judged or ridiculed me or made me feel inferior in any way. Just the opposite. Her unconditional love and acceptance always made me feel welcome. My opinions and thoughts were important to her and for that I am so grateful. I love and miss you. I was born in Urania and we lived almost next door to the Heider family. I was a small child at the time but remember how Louise and Lucille would come to our home and roll my mothers hair for her. I remember Mr Brooks Heider and Mr Elvin Heider. Some of the other names seem familiar to me also. I am so sorry for your loss. I now live in Jena, Louisiana. Evaleana McKeithern Coleman.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I only met Louise a few times & I have fond memories of her & Billie. May they rest in peace.
