Momma, I love you more than you'll ever know, and I miss you more and more everyday. It's getting close to the anniversary, and I can't even believe you're gone. Always in my heart momma, gone but never forgotten
We give thanks for the life of our UDC sister, Lucile. May God bless you and give you peace as you mourn your loss.
Norma Thronburg, Chaplain
Mary West Chapter 26
Mrs. Lucile, as my family knew her, was always a kind, friendly face at Rosedale Baptist Church. She first welcomed me as a single student. Then, when I got married, she welcomed my wife as well. After kids arrived, she continued smiling and welcoming. Even from her wheelchair, she was a consistent ray of sunshine.
When my time comes and I go to see my Lord Jesus, Mrs. Lucile will, once again, be there to welcome me. This time, however, there will be no walker, no wheelchair and no disease.
May God bless her family during this time of sorrow.
On behalf of our entire UDC chapter we send our deepest and most heart felt prayers and condolences to the family of Lucile. We are praying for comfort and you go through the grief of losing your wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.

Dear Miller Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your mother. During this difficult we are encouraged to rely on God for comfort. The scripture at Psalms 55:22 reads "Throw your burden upon God and he himself will sustain you." I pray that you may find peace and comfort from reading this.

To the family of Lucile,
May God wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you as you recover from the loss of your beloved mother and family member. Although I did not meet Lucile in person I am getting to know her through the messages shared here and with her obituary and the beautiful photographs. She lives on in her descendants and in your hearts and memories. God bless you always.

Momma, you stood by me when all others had given up on me. I love you with everything inside me. I will always miss your unwavering Faith and love.
Momma Lu, sorry I didn't get to meet you sooner but I am glad I had the chance.
Hey Mama Lu I just want to thank you for all your help in the 17 years I have known you. I will always keep you in my heart and in my mind. You are never forgotten.
Your loving great grandson,
Mama Lu, there is no way to ever express or begin to say thank you for all of the lessons in life you have taught us. From showing us what true unconditional love is all about to showing us what compassion and commitment truly is, and most importantly, what family is all about. From the wrapped candy caramels on the end table to the warm pecan pies coming out of the kitchen, I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories filling my heart. I am so thankful that you got to meet Cathy, Mama Lu. I know that is one thing you wanted so badly for me, to meet a good Christian woman who would stand beside me and be with me just as you were with Daddy Roy. We know that you are with Daddy Roy and Jesus right now, and that does bring a smile to us. Hmm.... there you go again, making sure we find our smiles even in a dark moment. Thank you Mama Lu, for giving us the life lessons that will carry us throughout our lives. We love you and miss you so much!!
Mom, you have always amazed me with your grace and caring. Even strangers have always fallen in love with you. You were my light. Love you, your baby daughter, Bette
With all our love and prayers.
Momma Lu, words do not come to describe the loss we feel, yet the joy we are experiencing in knowing you are, right now, back in Daddy Roy's arms. Susan and I will always feel like we are the recreation of you two: The Texas Boy finding his Oklahoma girl. We have a lot to live up to. Thank you for everything you taught me (Steve) over the years and know that we love you! Love, Steve and Susan (Dallas, Texas)
What beautiful memories! I'm sorry that Lilah and I can't be there with Dennis but we will be thinking of you all. Love, Jessica & Lilah.
Heaven has just gained a beautiful and special Angel. Mom, the ones you have left behind are so blessed to have had you in their lives. Thank you for loving us. Your daughter, Karen Robinson and her family Carl, John, and Sheena.
There is no way to tell you how much we will miss you - our Sunday coffees; our lunches; ROWC and DAR meetings; long drives in the country to see the bluebonnets......... the list is endless ........ thank you for your love, your sense of humor, your constant prayers and, most of all, for going seamlessly from being my Mother to being my best friend.
