I was surprised and saddened to learn of Lynn's passing from this life but rejoice that she is in the presence of the One she faithfully loved and served, her Lord Jesus Christ. Lynn had a profound impact on my life as we served together at Camp of the Woods many years ago. It does not surprise me that she faithfully encouraged the spiritual growth of others, especially women, throughout the years. My sympathies and prayers for Byron and dear daughter, Tracey. May God grant you peace.(I can hear Lynn's laugh!) What a woman!

After growing up with three older brothers, Lynn came along, married my oldest brother and became my first sister. She was a loving and Godly example for me, still a teenager. I was privileged to be in her wedding and to have her in mine. Over the years our bond of friendship and sisterhood grew even though we've always lived miles apart. Lynn was gifted at whatever she set her mind to do. She was warm, funny and wise. Lynn was a good listener and gave advice from a Christ centered heart. I will forever treasure our time spent together and look forward to the day that I will see her again in Heaven! For Lynn ... sister of my heart, I love you!

Lynn,
Will be missed more than you can know. She had an awesome way of making each person feel special to her and to the Lord.
She taught with a passsion and love for the word that she expressed in every class she led.
How blessed you must feel to have had her in your life. Prayers and love are sent to you in this next journey of your lives until you meet again in heaven.

Dear Byron and family,
I knew Lynn through CBS in Lake Forest. She passed on her knowledge and love of Jesus to me at each and every group meeting. She meant the world to me. Her kindness never ceased. She is dancing with Jesus now and for that I am happy, but I miss her terribly. May God comfort you and hold you close through these times.

Dear Byron and Tracy,
Mel and I wish we could wrap our arms around both of you. We grieve with you. Lynn's legacy of loving the Lord and His Word and then sharing it with others remains. She was a remarkable teacher and I know it was one of her greatest joys to share the gift of the Holy Spirit with so many as well as the hope of eternal life for all who trust in Jesus through Community Bible Study.
She loved both of you so much and her family brought much joy to her.
(From Mel): Byron - I enjoyed our conversations a few years back and am privileged to have known Lynn. You are in our prayers.
May God richly bless you,
Sandy and Mel

Dear Byron and Tracy,
Lynn was such a blessing to our family. We are so glad that we had those years together in Ann Arbor. Her faith and special skills of relating to people were inviting and infectious. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and made our lives richer. May our Lord give you the strength and comfort that you need at this difficult time.
Blessings,
Barbara & Dan Balbach

Dear Tracy & Byron - I didn't know Lynn all that well. We met a couple of times when you would come down to OH to visit with Tracy. However, it is my pleasure to know Tracy, how much she loves the Lord, and her incredible gift for music. I can only imagine Tracy is a reflection of her mother's love for her and for her Lord and Savior. I love that you are calling it a Celebration Service because that is exactly what it is - a celebration of Lynn's home going. God bless and comfort you both. Love in Christ, Margie & Ken Baum

Dear Byron and Tracie...
Lynn was a very special woman with a strong faith, gentle spirit, and loving heart. I was blessed by her wisdom, sensitivity, and grace-filled leadership during her many years at CBS. I will never forget my friend and will miss hearing her joyous laugh. Praise God that this parting is only for a time. I am praying for you during this time of intense sadness and rejoicing that Lynn is in the presence of her beloved Savior. May God Bless You, Liz Parrott
