Miss Genua was principal when I attended Hugh B. Bain Junior High School from 1973-1975. A wonderful school experience with her at the helm! We were all blessed to know such a warm, compassionate leader and role model.
With deepest sympathy and love and prayers, always,
My sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Marguerite Genua, one of the best teachers I was blessed to have during my school years at Bain Jr. High in Cranston, RI. She wasn't just a great teacher, she was a fantastic human being. Rest in peace Miss Genua!

Ms. Genua was my 1st grade teacher at Broad Street School in 1946. We students LOVED her. I tried to see her on her last day at Bain but just missed her. Beautiful person and soul.
I am so saddend by the news of Miss. Genua's passing. She was my principal at Bain and there was no one more dedicated to the students of that school than she. She was a great Principal and loving and caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
My husband and I attended Hugh B. Bain when Miss Genua was the Dean of Girls.(1962-1964) We will always remember how gentle she could be with all her students. She will be missed by all who knew her. May God bless you all in your time of sorrow.
With deepest sympathy
Miss Genua was the Principal at Hugh B Bain when I attended the school from 1963-1966. I remember her fondly as a great leader and great lady.
Ms. Genua has been a wonderful neighbor for many decades. She and her sisters have always taken such pride in their stately home. God speed, Ms. Genua.
Sincerely, Hugh, Dorothy and Marilyn Monahan
Dear Grace, Florence, Cathy, Matt, Bud, Dee, and all of your families. It was with great sadness that I learned of Marguerite's passing. Especially at this time of year, I often fondly remember being a child and the wonderful extended family we all got to enjoy. Time passes, things always change, but those early memories still burn strongly in my old heart and I'm ever greatful for those people in my life now gone to a better place. Mo and I send our prayers and love to all. May God bless us all.
Our thoughts are with you as we fondly recall the high degree of excellence that Miss Genua brought to the Hugh B. Bain Community. Regards, the Ferro Family
