Marion is the mother of one of my lifelong friends, Wendy. I want to express my sincere condolences because I know how heartbreaking it is when your mom passes even though they lived a great life. I got to visit Marion at her darling house once and enjoyed talking with her.Obviously she was an amazing woman and I know her family loved her dearly. Kim O'Neal [ Aptos, Ca }

Marion was a wonderfully inviting woman. She was sharp and always had something to contribute with wit and insight. It was a pleasure getting to know her and seeing her on our visits was an extra treat. We'll miss her. ~Tara and Brian Borcherding

Marion was my next door neighbor and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Once I went over there to apologize for my kids being so loud and before I could say anything she said, "Its so nice to hear your kids play over there. I love it!" - now not only can my kids be loud but I can be too, and as I was trying to tell her that she said, "I had kids, I know how it is, I was a yeller too!" She was just so funny and graceful about it, and never passed judgement on me or anyone. She always had a smile, bought girl scout cookies from my girls, gave them presents. It looks like she had 93 years of fantastic memories and I know that you children can cherish those forever, too.

I knew Marion from the Scrabble group. I wasn't a player but a visitor since I live right next door to Rose. What a beautiful woman she was. She was a great storyteller and I will always remember the laughs we shared. She was very kind and caring and I have received many heartfelt cards from her especially this year at my birthday and the loss of my mom this past March. She loved you kids very very much! I feel very blessed having known such a wonderful, lovely, intelligent lady! Pat Falcone (Long Beach, CA)

My sorrow for your lose. Marion was a wonderful lady, she will be missed. I have fond memories of her from my childhood. We just lost Dad recently and I know what you are going through. My thoughts are with you all and know that your mother is in a better place. She will be missed by all her neighbors.
