I was so sorry to hear about Margie’s passing. She was a special lady. I still smile when I think about the story we heard as kids of she, Billie, Travis and Mom eating the hearts out of the cabbage crop when they were young. We still make “Margie’s Recipe” for dinner every once in a while (lettuce, refried beans, cheese & fritoes) and I always think of her. I know y’all have a lot of special memories of her. You will cherish the photos and videos that’s she’s in for years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Martha, my happiest and most treasured memories of your mother are when I came to see Lucie right after Lucie was born. So many pictures and videos! My love to you and your family during this transitional time.
Mrs. Altenhoff was a special gift to so many! She touched the hearts of so many students, especially mine. She will be missed, but remains in our hearts forever!
She was the greatest and most memorable teacher I ever had. She was so sweet and encouraging. She will be missed.
Darvin, David, Dwight & Martha,
I just wanted to let y'all know that we are so sorry to hear about Margie. I loved her and thought she was a great lady! She always had a smile on her face that was infectious. I always enjoyed the times we got together, few though they were. I know that she's in heaven having a blast and Mom and Billie were the first ones to greet her. I'm sorry I can't make the funeral tomorrow, but it's tax season and we are working 10+ hour days. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Our sincere condolences to the family of Margie Altenhoff. Margie was a very beautiful, vivacious woman of faith who dearly loved her family. Our prayers go out to each of you, particularly to Terry, Martha, Lucie and Laura at this time as you both celebrate the life of a loving Mother/Grandmother and also grieve for her loss.
My heartfelt condolences to your family. Martha, my special prayers will be with you. It doesn't matter how old we are, it's hard to live without Mom.
Our condolences to your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers - love to you all. Ellis, Lea & Eric Sandoz
You were a great mother-in-law. I remember that as soon as you found out I loved cornbread, you made me a different type each time we ate at your house. That went on for year!... at least until the grandchildren arrived! Rest well, Margie.
