dear barbara and family,so sorry to learn of this on1/15/14. HE GAVE meMY BEST YEAR OF TRAINING. I guess I expected him to keep on living if for no other reason other than that he was the most excellent teacher and physician one might encounter. I submit my love and gratitude, and extend to you my sincere condolences, and thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

The first time I met him he looked me up and down and said “You must be six feet tall”.

Well Zayde – whenever I looked at you I thought "You must be ten feet tall".

Dear Kalser Family,
Jen and I were very sorry to hear of Uncle Marty's passing. He was an inspiration to me and I'm sure to a vast number of people. We respectively honor your wishes not for direct contact. We wanted to convey our deepest sympathies. We hope you are all well and look forward to hearing from you when it is convenient.

I remember as kids, your Dad always stopping to talk with us, give us advice, a smile, and a "stay out of trouble". I know you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

For over 12 years I was Dr. Kalser's secretary at JMH GI Station and he was the kindest, and best boss I ever worked for. Raising two teen daughters alone back then, his words of encouragement were always so helpful . My deepest sympathy to his wife and family who just lost a wonderful man.
